This Pergola looks amazing!. I did a lot of research to look for a beautiful Pergola and found this one. It took half a day to assemble, but it was not difficult. It looks beautiful! I love the fact that we can open and close it automatically.

I bought the Skydance model. Strong product with a durable finish. Had a couple of bumps along the way with shipping but incredibly happy with the finished project. I anticipate the product will have a long service life. Having piece of mind knowing it is such a durable product is what I was looking for. Great job Pergolux!

This decision to buy a Pergola took a long time on my end since I let myself be deterred by the idea that I wanted custom sized for my 15x17 deck. But what I got quoted for that was ridiculous; anywhere from 15k with plastic (!) louvers to 40k uninstalled. When I found Pergolux, I compared them with other kit sellers like Bon Pergola but found that they not only had the best look and seemed of much more solid quality, but they were also interested in my business without the hard sell. Every question was patiently answered, countless resources provided so that I could be convinced of the pergolux quality . I reconfigured my project to work with a 13x13 wall mount Pergolux and boy am I happy about the at minimum 10k saved! The missing footage does not matter a bit and our new deck design with the pergola has been greatly admired during our inaugural party.. The construction is solid. Because our project was connected to a deck built, we had the pergola installed by our contractor in about 5 hours. He, who initially connected me to the 15k quoter, now tells everyone about it, since he was impressed by the quality and ease of building. One more shoutout to their customer service: When our delivery hit a snag (entirely by fault of the logistics provider), customer service was on it and did not let go until the kit made it safely by the deadline of construction to our house. They called me back after hours, kept me informed and showed me they cared about my project and forced the logistics provider to send an extra truck to my door, just to be able to continue the work! They truly cared - well done!!!

This is a review about Pergolux Customer Service. I will write a separate review re: the product once I receive it, however, I have been so impressed by the customer service during the ordering process that I felt compelled to write a separate review. I have been researching louvered pergolas for our backyard for over 6 months. Like most, I initially obtained reviews for landscaper and national brand (eg, Struxure) installed models and was stunned by the sticker shock. I then began researching self-installed brands such as Hanso Home, Luxury Pergola, Bon Pergola, Purple Leaf, and PERGOLUX as well as the cheaper models sold through Costco, Wayfair, etc. After accounting for all factors including quality, available sizes, cost, value, ease of installation, availability and features, I finally decided on the Pergolux Pergola (their non-automated version of louvered pergola) as the best combination of quality and value. Throughout the process, I reached out to Pergolux customer service on several occasions (via their Chat feature, which is available 8a to 10p daily), and was consistently impressed with the prompt access and the detailed, accurate information the US-based agents provided (I believe their call center is in Connecticut). Their reps really know their products well. They answered all my questions and I felt comfortable with proceeding with Pergolux. Even better, I was able to purchase during their Black Friday sale. The 13x13 ft pergola comes in both wall-mounted and free standing versions. I originally ordered the wall mounted version. I finally received the shipment 2 weeks ago. It arrived in 4 large, well-packaged long boxes. As I began unboxing and planning installation, I soon realized that my type of roof fascia that I had hope to mount to was not suitable to safely mount. I reached out to Pergolux and spoke with Melissa. From the start, she reassured me that Pergolux would work with me to get me the right product. Initially, she provided more technical specs and installation information. Once we confirmed that the wall mount would not work, she again assured me that they would ship me a new freestanding pergola to replace the wall mounted one, with free shipping. Of course, I would need to ship back the original pergola, which at nearly 1000lbs, is a not cheap. Melissa worked with me to reach a fair agreement to cover the cost of return shipping, made all the arrangements with her freight company to pick it up, and handled all the details to update my order. I was initially very leery to make such a large purchase with an online company that I knew little about, but my experience of Pergolux so far has been amazing and has exceeded all expectations.

So cool! I have been wanting something with a good solid removal roof for a long time! Have been searching but all options seem to be way to expensive or cheaply made. PERGOLUX had most of my questions answered by info on website. One quick chat with Kurt and call with a Gal(can’t remember her name) and the unit is on its way. 🎉

The pergola came quickly and was delivered in perfect condition. My husband and I built it together over a couple of days and it went very smoothly. It seems quite sturdy and has withstood some pretty high winds. We got the Sundream with electric louvers and LED lights. The LED lights are the perfect amount of illumination for an evening out with friends. It's a very soft, non-glaring light. We enjoyed it for a few weeks before it got cold and can't wait to get back out there. We bought 2 screens with it as well and they function smoothly with a bit of self-retracting action. We wish we had bought a 3rd screen. We got a free heater but haven't been able to use it yet as it blew a breaker when we first plugged it in. It works fine in a 20 amp plug but the one near the pergola is only 15 amp. I highly recommend this pergola for ease of build, its beauty, cost and quality.

My experience with Pergolux has been outstanding! I cannot speak highly enough to the quality of the product, as well as how structurally appealing it looks as a new addition to my back patio space. Install was fairly reasonable, for such a large structure, but most people should be able to handle it with an extra set of hands and some patience. The louvers and "built-in" rain gutters are brilliant and a nice feature for this unit. I would highly recommend some of their accessories as well, if your budget permits. They are well thought-out and basically plug-in play into the unit. i.e. heater, LED lights, shade and even the wood-slat wall unit. It's beautiful once it all comes together. A+ experience.
