I bought an Akoya golden pearl necklace $119.00 Package arrived with no delay, came with authentication certificate and very nice red jewelry pouch. The pearls were FAKE! They were made of Plastic pearl beads, they're very light, that the string cannot even keep it in shape. What a shame! I know it was bought cheaply, but they could at least let us know that they're not real. The website automatically collects payment thru PayPal, there's no way to get your money back.

Quality is a huge disappointment! I purchased an 18K Gold Tahitian Pearl Louisa Earrings (GRRE75544E) for $376.99 in May 2025. At 14 months later, the gold has faded leaving discoloration, exposing the reactive base metal underneath. The website did not disclose that the product is gold plated! DO NOT buy from this website!

I spent $175 for what was advertised as authentic South Sea pearl earrings only to have them arrive and are clearly FAKE. This company is a fraud - do not waste your money thinking you're getting a great deal. What you are getting is 100% costume jewelry from China.

be aware that this company is a fraud and sell fake pearls-- after i tell them that the pearl necklace is a fake and i demand immediate return, they refunded (with a deduction of $15) but never care to send me a return label for the fake necklace which they sell at over $400 for return-- i still have it --and every time i saw it, it is so unpleasant---- It is shocking to see such a company can continue to do business and defraud people.

Don't trust a single good review about the seller, they sell silver chain covered in golden paint and so called pearls are glass bids - you can see clear line where 2 halves were glued to form a bid.

Ordered a 700 dollar salt water pearl necklace. What I received according to a 3rd party retail jeweler was a seed of something that was painted. The 18k stamp was fake gold. Had it acid tested it at the jewelry store. The necklace was a beautiful fake. They have a 30 day return policy and when we asked for our money back it was refunded. They didn’t ask us to return the necklace.

Very bad experience. I ordered a necklace set for $520 but they were very small and very fake looking. I contacted them and a lady named Teresa responded back and told me that she will refund my money and I can keep the set for $100. She never refunded my money and stopped replying to my emails. This site is a scam and their products are so fake looking. Do not trust this site.

I purchased a pair of earrings online that looked gorgeous. A few weeks later, not only was the item I received different from what I ordered (though it had a similar design), but it also was not real 18K gold or Tahitian pearls. When I requested a refund, Pearls Lover’s customer service representative, Teresa, insisted that I keep the item and offered a 40% discount instead of returning it, claiming that “the returning package is going back to Shanghai, China, so it would cost you a lot in shipping and duties.” This is, of course, unacceptable, as I had no intention of spending that kind of money on a counterfeit. As a result, I filed a dispute via PayPal to get (part of) my money back. Shoppers, don’t be fooled—Pearls Lover’s return policy is essentially nonexistent, despite their “60 Days Money Back Guarantee.” Do your homework and buy from a reputable jeweler so you don’t end up like I did.
