I wanted bifocals with full width split lens. Every pair I selected indicated that that option wasn't available with that. I used online chat and I also called a Payne rep and neither were any help.

The glasses were cute, but their quality was cheap. After wearing them for 3 weeks, the arm broke while I was out of town. I was stuck with a broken pair of glasses.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your glasses broke while you were traveling — that’s definitely not the experience we want for our customers. Even though this happened after a few weeks of wear, we’d be happy to take a closer look and help make things right. Please reach out to our support team with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we’ll review the situation right away to see what options we can offer. We want to ensure you end up with a pair that feels great and lasts.

Decent prices and selection but A LOT of sneaky up charges. Will probably find a different company.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback. We do our best to keep prices affordable while offering a wide range of customization options—each with clear pricing details during checkout. That said, we’re sorry to hear it came across as unexpected. We’ll review your comments to see where we can make things clearer. If you’d like, we’d be happy to go over your order and explain any charges in detail.

I have been a long time customer of Payne Glasses, and have purchased multiple pairs over the years. One thing I've noticed in the past couple of years is how everything is fine, until it isn't. Now, if there's an issue with the glasses ordered, Payne Glasses customer service reps automatically throw the responsibility and onus of the (their) errors onto the customer, as their first form of communication. My experience has been that their methodology for dealing with production problems is to make any possible solution so heinously inconvenient and cumbersome for the customer that it will deter the customer from holding Payne responsible. In other words; make the possible solution so problematic that the customer gives up, takes the loss, and moves on. As stated above, Payne Glasses are good until they're not. Proceed accordingly.

I have purchased glasses from Payne glasses for years and have always been happy. When i tried to purchase another pair, there was an issue. I had to change my old email because it did not exist any more. It said my email was successfully changed. Would not let me in with the new email. They no longer have a phone contact and use an automated bot. After a out 15 minutes of trying to explain my issue to the bot, it told me it was unable to solve my issue. So now I cannot purchase glasses from the place i have always used and was once satisfied with. Something has changed ant NOT for the better.

I've ordered glasses from Payne in the past and I've been very satisfied with the product and the service, and I fully expect the same with this order. However, the website is awful. I found it to be very cumbersome to navigate. I was looking for what I thought was something that was fairly common. I was looking for an XL frame with spring hinges. 🤷♂️

Thank you for your continued support—we’re so glad to hear you’ve been happy with our products and service in the past, and we appreciate your trust in us with this new order. We’re sorry to hear that navigating the website was frustrating, especially when looking for something as specific (and important!) as XL frames with spring hinges. Your feedback is incredibly helpful, and we’ll be sure to share it with our team as we work to improve the shopping experience.

Shipping took forever, I payed postage and there was a delay for something with the postage. But now that I have them, the tint was 80% and it sure doesn’t seem very dark, like at all it seem very very light for 80% (FL-41), so a little disappointed in that I’m not sure I would order these ones again.
