The second pair of sunglasses that developed a haze on the lenses. Poor quality and Payne will not make it right. I will never buy Payne glasses again.

My progressives prescription was not manufactured correctly, and the lenses were wrong. Could not reach anyone by phone to resolve, was told only by email. Each response took several days, and the entire issue, which was a refund, took about a month to resolve. I was asked to pay an up charge to get the premium warranty to even get a refund. Otherwise the choice for a replacement was single vision only, when I'd paid for progressives! Details got lost in the many daisychained emails, and my optician verified a defect in the lenses. Their optician says they were made to spec. I'm going to trust my optician with 40+ years experience, than some fly by night online only company. Some things are best still done in person, only. There is no quality customer service anymore, just pushing company policies and no authority to think outside of that to assist customers. I finally got a full refund, but this was an incredibly disappointing experience overall. Their optician viewed my initial photos wearing them with their PD markers on them, and noted "they are not straight on your face", why I could not see out of them. My optician straightened them and noted the lenses didn't have prism. It wasn't written into my prescription, but all progressive lenses have prisim ground into them. Not only don't I recommended this company, I don't recommend online ordering of glasses other than single vision, maybe bifocals

The ordering process was fast and my glasses arrived within a week. I ordered transitional lenses and went out for the day wearing the glasses which were fine. The problem is that there is a distinct grey tint on the lenses, they did not revert back to clear. Customer service gave me an option to upgrade to the brand name transitional lenses for an extra fee. Apparently I had ordered the generic transitional lenses which will remain tinted after uv exposure. They refused to replace the lenses without my incurring an additional cost. This was my first and last purchase with Paynes Glasses. I have ordered transitional lens glasses from other online retailers and they always go back to clear indoors away from UV Light.

Never again. I normally do not write bad reviews; I don't want to seem like a "professional complainer". However, this company deserves it. The return process is torture and deceptive. I now have been informed that I will only get 50% of the amount I paid for the frames, less shipping. So out of the $100 I spent; I will be getting $35.00 refunded. My plan is to donate the frames to the Lion's Club. This will save me more grief. The frames were cheap and off center. But worse than that is their customer service! They do not want you to return them for a refund, so they offer (several times) an exchange or a voucher. Like I would go through this again. Try ordering clear lenses only and see what happens...you are automatically directed to get reflective coating which now makes the glasses "prescription lenses" which means your refund is reduced. Not worth the hassle. You get what you pay for. Use a local Optometrist. One nice thing, the packaging was secure.

They keep ignoring me when ask them to replace frames. I sent them an email every day for the last week but all they do is ask me for a selfie with the glasses.

Quick to take my money but slow in response to inquiry and refused to help switching frames. Never again, PayneGlasses!!!!!!!

My glasses were delivered to Minneapolis instead of my delivery address. I ordered this ahead of time since i know they proccess it a bit longer than expected. Now i am stuck to wait longer and i need it this weekend for a wedding that i am a photographer for. I am a long time PAYNE GLASSES customer. Now i am ready to move to a better company that won't give me hassles. I wish they would just give me a full refund since it's their fault. So i can order somewhere else instead of waiting for a replacement pair.
