I tried to access my W2 forms for taxes this year and I have been blocked from my account. I tried to recover my username over 100 times by now giving them my email so I can access my account. But I never received an email. I tried calling their phone number and couldn't get through to a human. I tried to find some kind of email address so I can get SOME kind of answer and there's nothing there. This issue happened to me before when I needed to access my account to update an address change and never received a response. Paycom is an unreliable company that doesn't value it's users. It's illegal to gatekeep people from their personal information and I DESERVE a response so I can file my taxes this year.

We encourage you to contact your employer’s HR or payroll personnel for assistance with your W-2. Paycom provides software to users, but your organization should provide your tax documents. If you require further assistance, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Go elsewhere!
I’ve been with Paycom since April 2022 and I have had one problem after another. At setup they failed to create accounts for the state I live in, they had the wrong location listed for several of my employees, and they failed to properly set up the employee clock in and clock out system leading to one of my employees being able to clock in and out from her home.
The final straw was when they failed to file my taxes in a timely fashion leading to penalties that I had to oay. When I brought this to their attention, with a written notice from the IRS, they told me it would take a month to investigate and they blew me off when I asked to speak to someone higher up.
I don’t know how they have remained in business for this long and I am moving on.

I'm a computer consultant
I'm a computer consultant, and a retired academic psychology researcher.
I have never seen a web site with a worst log-in experience in my life. My wife's job requires her to use paycom.com and it has been a horrible experience because the design violates every possible way of making things easy to use and simple. My complaint is not based on one or two occasions but the entire time, several years, that my wife has been dealing with this frustrating and incredibly badly designed web page.
To start with:
1 Most browsers allow you to save settings when you save the login name and a password. However, these incompetents insist on having to add the last four digits of your social security number. Hence, if you save the login, it will overwrite the password with the SS digits and fail the next time to take you to the step that asks for your SS digits. This is an inexcusable stupidity. Moreover, the need for increased security (more than for you bank account) is totally unneeded. What hacker is going to login to your account in order to put in your working hours?
2 Second, most of the time you are not allowed to see what security number or word you are typing. Most people are not doing this in public, so there is no need to hide things from your own eyes. My wife logs in on her own computer, at home, so hiding things is not only unnecessary, but an action that wastes even more of her time in case she mistyped something. Typos happen, and if you can see what you have typed, it can be corrected immediately. But, no, the incompetents at paycom.com make it difficult for anyone using their on-line site without endless frustration and hours of time wasted.
Other web pages, give you the option of not hiding any of the things you type when you are safe from any prying eyes. Paycom.com sometimes provides an eye icon, but these don't often do anything.
I could go on listing other utter stupidities, but I am tired of wasting more of my time, so I will conclude by saying to any company thinking of contracting paycom.com for their business: DO NOT DO THIS.
Your employees are going to be frustrated and angry having to deal with so much incompetence. A smart 12 year old would do a far better job.
This is my professional opinion both as a scientist who has studied ergonomics as well as a computer consultant who deals with computer programs all the time.

Not worth your sanity
I love my job, and thought about quitting during this implementation. Paycom sales rep advised us we would have everything we have with our current vendor plus some for the same costs. Unfortunately that was highly misrepresented. The sales rep would say he didn't realized we had that. We now pay more than what we did with the previous vendor for less product. The implementation representatives are rude and blame us for everything that goes wrong; there is no accountability. I feel Paycom should be paying me a portion of my salary from all the work and hours I had to put in. Things just keep on coming up and they just keep on higher the price and our stress.

Worst Vendor Ever
I strongly caution you to stay away from this company! The not-for-profit company I work for contracted with Paycom. As soon as the contract was signed, we discovered they made no fewer than 4 material misrepresentations that affected the price, the product they promised, and the service we received. They charged thousands of dollars for services they never performed, and when we terminated the contract and asked for our money back for non-performance, they refused and then ghosted us. Extremely unprofessional. It is unconscionable that a national, billion-dollar company would retain a fee from a small not-for-profit that works to improve the lives of vulnerable children, for a service they did not perform. Shame on Paycom.

They advertise as processing payroll…
They advertise as processing payroll with a push of a button. You do eventually push a button just like any other payroll system. Once you get past the implementation phase, their knowledge of their own system is poor. It seems like everything we do according to their instruction is wrong. Our particular contact only works off of their time zone and is not flexible to my schedule at all. During the implementation phase the information that they pulled from our old was brought over incorrect. They pulled deductions that were not the current deductions so everyone's first check was wrong. We are a manufacturing company and we have 3 shifts and different schedules. They are not coded like we ask them to during implementation so 3rd shift exceptions are never right. Holidays are not paid correctly, benefits do no load or come across correctly. We hate Paycom and look forward to the day we can drop them. They might work okay if you have one shift and no variance to anything, but not manufacturing. We are now into our 2nd year and experiencing all of these issues. This program was picked by our upper management without input from the people who use it. This was selected before I hired on. Terrible all around.

Paycom Bad Experience
We have moved recently into this system, looks like they do not have any API support to other system like accounting, benefits etc. Their support team does not have enough skills to have the system configured to the clients properly.
