Worst system I've used in a professional setting. Buggy, 0 quality control upon update releases, the system doesn't share data with itself, it's clunky and hard to use, especially when utilizing it for recruitment, the entire PAF (personal action form) system is hit or miss and decides which days it will decide to work. Save you money for a coding system, as this is essentially what Paycom is, but broken.

I don’t have a smart phone and have to use a tablet set up by our IT Department, more then once it doesn’t check me in then I have to get someone to help redo the “Punch” whatever that is. System not set up for old folks like me, I feel like it’s pushing out of my job because of the mistakes it makes and I get blamed for.

It’s been a week now and they still haven’t sent my check back to my employer to have it resent to me after my account was locked due to fraud when it was first sent out. My HR said they were supposed to hear from them yesterday and never did. Today I’m told they haven’t sent the money back yet and I could end up having to wait until the next pay period!? I have bills to pay and am getting scammed out of my own money. Pathetic disgrace of a company.

My company recently switched to Paycom, and I just got my first quarterly bonus check. I received hundreds of dollars less than I did in ADP!! I contacted HR to question this and was told Paycom only taxes at the federal supplemental rate. Every payroll company I've ever worked with had an option to tax bonuses at the regular rate. It is crazy to me, they have so many other options and a million links to click, but they can't offer the ability to not tax at the supplemental rate! Very frustrating to lose so much money on something that is given as an appreciation of your hard work. People count on this money for vacations or Christmas gifts, etc... things they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford. And now that amount is significantly less.

NOT GOOD FOR SMALL BUSINESSES! they treat you like a corporation from the start, they charge misc additional fees, payroll system NOT user friendly. Waste of my time and money.

We would love to be extremely happy with Paycom. It would make our lives so much easier. They are stunningly bad. From support reps who have too many clients to the lack of ability to speak with a support person who knows about specific issues (PTO, 1095 filing, etc) this company is truly the worst one I have one I have had to use in over 4 decades of experience. If you have a simple payroll where you pay once a month or twice a month; have a very simplified PTO policy, and don't have any type of complex pay system maybe they will work for you. Now they will TELL you they know about complicated systems but they don't. They don't know about state and federal laws; still haven't filed corrected 1095's that were cleaned up before the March 31 filing date. Their support employees abandon you for days at a time. Just too bad; time to look for a new one I guess.

nightmare transition Never trust an easy transition that is set up in under a month. Nothing easy about it, and employees are still paid incorrectly and 4 days late.

I don't know what PayCom does for employers, but from what I've witnessed, it is an absolute pain for employees. For one thing, a lot of employees do not want any app having GPS access to their location. From what I've seen, even if you do have the location service activated, you still have to go into the app upon entering the building and submit info, so it's not much - if any - different than submitting Missing Punch Requests. And from what I've seen, at least four or five employees in my department alone every day have a problem with the GPS service anyway. Speaking of which, the way the system is set up, if you miss clocking in in the morning, you do not have the option of clocking in or out on the time clock (iPad) for the rest of the day, and you have to submit Missing Punch Requests for the entire day. And you had better catch it and do it that day, because at least most of the time you can't go back and submit requests for a previous day. Then there's the issue of company insurance being handled through PayCom. God forbid you should want details on the available options. Also, if you want detailed check stub info, like YTD info, can't get that on your phone. Have to actually be able to get to a PC.
