Don't use PayCargo... very hidden fee
I'd prefer to give this company zero stars. They're not even worthy of one. I totally agree with the other reviewers here. PayCargo is a scam. I mean, granted, they do offer a way for you to pay your shipper, so that's helpful. But the fact that they do not disclose this $250 annual user fee anywhere on their site is despicable. As noted by another reviewer, it is located in section 10.6 of their user agreement, which I guarantee no one reads. Our fault? Maybe to some degree. But to not mention it on your site is not right. It's unethical. On their FAQs for payers, they say that it doesn't cost anything to register. What a bunch of hooey. Sure, it doesn't cost anything at the time you sign up, but then unknowingly, they charge you. I'm not sure it's worth it for "expedited" processing to use them. Next time, I'm just sticking with a wire transfer and dealing with the approval delay that goes along with that. It's not worth it to pay $250 a year for a service I need once or twice a year to pay a $100 bill. Utterly ridiculous.

Thank you for your feedback. When registering an account with PayCargo the customer must agree to our terms and conditions. Our annual fee is described in line item 6 in section 10 (labeled "Fees"). As a courtesy to our customers, we send an email 30 days prior to the debit explaining the upcoming charge along with an invoice. We'd like to add that the annual fee is also visible as a scheduled transaction in the transaction queue 30 days before debiting the customer's account. Therefore customers have the opportunity to call or email us prior to the scheduled date of the debit to cancel their account. You may find our terms and conditions linked here: https://www.paycargo.com/termsandconditions.cfm#/termsandconditions If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us via email [email protected] or via telecom 888-250-7778.
