Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service of the UK pawshake. I have been a sitter for years and at one point they put my profile offline because I removed a photo of MY dog of when he was a puppy, to change it with a recent one. There's been absolutely nothing I could do, change photo again, write to them. NOTHING. Absolute bunch of high rate incompetents. They take 19% from the sitters and yet they can't perform basic tasks on their website and seem to randomly put loads of sitters profiles on pause for NO REASON.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I think Sam has been replaced by Jack, who is equally frustrating to deal with.

My cat Ebony is very happy to be in the company of my Pawshake sitter whether he is just visited for feeding & playtime or an overnight stay. I have many friends with dogs & they have all been satisfied with the service. I would recommend Pawshake to everyone.

I’ve used Pawshake for years and have the pleasure of having Sam as our cat sitter. She is wonderful with our kitty cats who have special needs. Never had a problem with the site. Customer service always excellent. Highly recommend this service.

A Waste of Time (for me)
For me at least, trying to use this site has been a waste of time. I contacted around 10 potential dog walkers/sitters all of whose schedules showed 'available'. Yet none of them were actually available. I guess they just don't update their schedules which is in some way understandable. I suggest that Pawshake changes its policy so that the default is 'not available' and dog carers have to actively specify when they are available. I will add that most of the dog sitters I contacted did reply/decline very politely.
