Disappointing Experience as a Sitter
I have been on pawshake as a dog sitter for nearly 2 years. The clients I met are great and I love being a sitter, but pawshake itself is badly managed. Their "premium" insurance has a cap of $2500 on all vet bills, giving a massive financial risk for both host and client (emergency vet bills are commonly in excess of $4000) The website and app is clunky, hard to use and does not guide sitter/client though the process nicely. It is also very minimal in its functions (eg. cannot offer special rates to a person, restricts the amount to charge). In the time I have used the platform has not been updated or improved at all. As a result I have decided to leave the platform and use other platforms like MadPaws.

Hi Kelly, Firstly, I would like to thank you for being on our platform for so long! I'd also like to apologise that you've had this experience, but we are grateful for your feedback. The Pawshake Pet Protection serves to prevent financial hardship in case of accident or illness. Experience has shown that the majority of claims don't exceed the capped limit. As for the functionality of the website and app, we can understand your frustrations about it. Our tech team is constantly working hard at tackling bugs and building new features that, you, our users, have requested for. For instance, upon popular request, we have recently implemented the function of modifying dates :) We're sorry that some changes take some time, and I will feedback to our team about this. I hope that you will reconsider staying with us as each and every one of our members are truly valued! Warm regards, Pawshake Support
