The platform was a great resource to find a pet sitter, and our experience with that pet sitter was amazing! Pawshake itself however, could use a few improvements. In the app itself, the messaging system is quite glitchy and doesn't always load messages or photos. Secondly, not all of the options of services are available as options for people's profiles. I would also recommend making it mandatory for users to upload their pets vaccination records. Pawshake seems to have very strict rules around communication and financial exchange to happen through only their app, with worry about getting banned from using the app. It made me quite leery about using them initially. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the commission that Pawshake takes is very high. For this reason, I probably won't use this service again. But my experience overall with who I found was really great.
