Fair warning if your considering using pawshakes.ie app I made all the arrangements with a couple in bushy Park area through this app to mind our dog ,on the day I wanted to meet and introduce them to her they cancelled, I only found out by chance .. Pawshake were not really interested in my situation,,and remember dog minding in ireland is completely unregulated Be very careful using these apps your pet is everything to you, and just money to others What a reply...ie the good news is they gave you plenty of time ... What are you talking about ??? This is my whole point they gave no notice at all .... They never told me they were cancelling until I tried to organise the meeting ..and they coldly replied @ 4 .45 in the morning "oh we have another dog for that date " good luck finding another sitter ???? Again I warn people do not use this site My point is if these sitters did not care to care to cancel... they sure as hell won't care about any dog there minding your dog Imagine if these people minded children god forbid

I had a horrible experience with a sitter who had 15+ positive ratings. I found out she lied, wasn't following my feeding instructions, left my pwts alone for days and wasn't doing her job properly. Pets were extra stressed when I got back. The Pawshake rating system itself is rigged. This sitter lied and took my keys, never intended to return it. Had to report to the police. Anyone can sign up to be a sitter so easily without a police check. The happiness guarantee doesn't cover the extra cost incurred by bad sitters. So basically, you still need to pay for things that you didn't do and the Pawshake isn't liable for hiring/letting this kind of people sneak and take advantage of other pet owners with no care for your pets. There are still normal sitters on Pawshake. However, my experience was shocking and I have no interest in using it again. I would avoid with all costs

Nous sommes enchantés d’avoir trouvé Isabelle via l’association Pawshake. Elle est très à l’écoute et adorable avec notre Gaston. Elle nous a envoyé des vidéos et des photos, ce qui nous a permis de passer une belle journée, car c’était la première fois que nous confions notre chien à une gardienne. Elle a toute notre confiance.

The whole process was disappointing. I contacted someone to board my dog whilst we have a holiday. Communication was terrible with days without hearing anything. Repeatedly asked for the address to do a prebooking visit, to no avail. Was due to visit in Natasha 2 days time to receive a message saying that a repeat customer needs those dates, blaming an oversight! I will not be using this service again and will look for another boarding service.

Very good service. Helped us find a great minder for our puppy. Close to home and having other peoples reviews on the minder was very helpful.
