The customer service provided was effective and timely. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of discounts available given the amount of puppies enrolled in the test. There should be available discounts for breeders and others looking to use your services. My biggest disappointment, however was that the test should have been comprehensive given the amount of money I spent for the service. I spent over $500 for a “normal/clear” rating and a copy/pasted explanation for each puppy. I had high hopes for this company but will not be using their service again.

I'm staring to feel like information isn't all being provided about certain tests for my breed (HSF4) and am not confident in how to proceed with only half of the answers and no way to verify accuracy. If a carrier is considered affected because this is a dominant trait and is more likely to contract HSF4 in their lifetime ( different labs have different percentages) technically they are AFFECTED and should not be used for breeding, I have 1 dog that's a carrier that I purchased from another breeder he had 1 parent who was a carrier so 1 in 4 chance and ended up a carrier, I have had 1 singleton puppy sired by him so the odds are the same 1 in 4 and of course she is a carrier. Unfortunately it seems that in every case the result is worst case scenario. If labs have the #'s of confirmed dogs with 1 copy of HSF4 that in fact have this type of cataract (likely cross referenced with CERF exam statistics) and are AFFECTED then this is information that needs to be shared with breeders not held, we are paying for diagnostics to help us make better choices and I am not willing to put dogs out there as altered companions that would have a higher chance (%) of having HSF4, something that does affect their life and requires surgical correction. Frustrated. I will continue to test my dogs but will look forward to some viable information/statistics in the near future not just "here are your results figure it out".

I have always had a good experience with Paw Print. However, other DNA companies are offering a lot more for the $ with a comprehensive report.

Tests were great, the format for the results is undesirable and the cost is way too high.

The service is great, but the price is not. I hate waiting for sales to get competitive prices. I'd rather use a lab that has decent prices all the time. It doesn't have be the least expensive, just around the same as others.

Good, but results take longer to get back than other companies

Did not agree with the color testing they said my dog was. Hard to understand codes they sent, no explaination. Had to call them. Sent them pics of dog to look at color and never heard back from them.
