Be careful you are getting the offer you think you’re being offered!

I clicked on a link through Facebook to see if this could help a little with my dog training. I thought I was paying £19.99 for a one off access to some of their training materials. I didn’t use it immediately as I was really quite busy. I then got billed £39.99 which I didn’t notice immediately and before I checked the account I was billed again. Discovered I was on a subscription. When I first tried to cancel I could not see easily how to do this on the website account using my laptop. I then downloaded the app which was a bit simpler but still then too me to a web page. Why this wasn’t more accessible in the beginning. I also emailed support. Their response was initially that I could cancel but offering a one-off £29.99 fee for lifetime access. Since I’d already paid out two lots of £39.99 I asked whether this wasn’t enough. But was told that when I first clicked on the link offering dog training help there was clear information that I was signing up to a subscription. I don’t believe this was that visible and I certainly don’t recall seeing an email asking me to for example verify that I wanted this subscription. What started as £19.99 to see if they could help has cost me nearly £100. I have now cancelled. But just beware to check what you have signed up to as it really wasn’t clear when I first began the process. I haven’t accessed their training materials as I’ve not had time and now I’ve cancelled. And won’t be clicking on offers like this again directly from a link. Check out all the information first as they are clearly telling me their terms and conditions state all this. Update. I have now been given a refund for £39.99 so one month of this subscription. I have been asked to change this review to reflect this. I have however, also read other reviews here on Paw Champ and I am still of the opinion that the link I clicked for access to their materials of £19.99 did not include explanation of a subscription. Thank you for the refund for one month of £39.99, it's a shame that couldn't extend to the 2nd month. I also was offered in an email when I had made contact about how to cancel the subscription, an offer of £29.99 for a lifetimes access. Seems strange that I had already paid more than this, not to simply grant it. However, clearly this isn't their model.
