I used PawChamp for a while and have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it gave me a decent theoretical foundation — it helped me understand general dog behavior principles and structure my approach to training. That was useful at the start. But it wasn't enough on its own. My dog is reactive, and it was working with an actual dog trainer in person that made the real difference. The trainer could see the specific situation, tailor exercises to my dog, and correct my technique in real time. Without that hands-on guidance, the app's content would've stayed pure theory — on its own, it barely moved the needle. So I'd recommend PawChamp only as a supplementary tool for general understanding, not as a solution for reactivity or other serious behavioral issues. For that, there's no substitute for working with a qualified trainer in person.
