This past trip with Nakeba as my agent was extremely copacetic. I got to spent with with my best friends and my chosen family. And I'm fortunate to have chosen the right group to travel with. The only gripe I had, was with the resort. Said resort was unfortunately lacking at-in located emergency services. I've stayed at other resorts where the on staff medical team was fully equipped and eager to help in any way possible. This was not the case. I pray no one else goes through what we went through but for those with allergies, make sure to bring antihistamines and an Epi-Pen. The apt confined food outside my allergies was Chef's Kiss. The service was great. Music was good. And the resort and it's vicinity had plenty of things to do. ***Note to future travelers, there are families at the resort so be mindful if that if you're looking for an adult only resort.***

Overall, despite the daily rain, I thought that the Panama trip was well organized, from the transportation shuttle to/from the airport, the Day 1 cocktail making class & mixer, to the daily itinerary & transportation on excursion days, and the group dinner & music on the last day. Receiving the Passport Poppin ' swag bag at hotel check-in was a nice touch; and I also appreciated the end of day schedule reminders that were posted in the trip's GroupMe.

I recently traveled with Passport Poppin to Panama and had so much fun! This was my first time traveling outside of the country since before the pandemic hit, which is why I opted to take a group trip. I had no idea what to expect but left feeling incredibly satisfied with my stay in Panama. The Passport Poppin organizers were authentically kind, thorough, and responsive to any need that came up in real time. For example, when I mentioned concern about being more inclusive with dietary restrictions during our group-provided meals, the Passport Poppin girls were able to accommodate me so that I always had something to eat and expressed a true desire to be more inclusive in the future. They were always around to promote community amongst the group, safety within this new country, and incredibly lit vibes 🤭😜. Passport Poppin was mega prepared, organized and so so so much fun! I’d definitely consider traveling with them again ♥️

My friends and family thought I was insane for going on this trip with complete strangers to a country I've never been to before but I’m glad I did. We did it Joe!!!! The group of ppl on this trip were Absolutely Amazing!!! We all clicked immediately, definitely have some life long friends and travel besties after this trip. The hotel selected was a really great choice, super comfy, spacious ,close to great restaurants, Amazing Staff and it offered a great luxury balance to all the trekking we did on various excursions. Our tour guides Dan and Kevin were the absolute best, 10/10, extremely knowledgeable, so kind and patient with us. I do wish more options for the various excursions would have been given. The boat tour and island hopping on the 1st day was so much fun. The hiking/waterfall experience however, definitely brought me closer to God. I be in the gym and I’m pretty active but I'm far from a hiker so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Definitely wish I was more prepared. I would have brought more of a book bag rather than a tote and definitely hiking shoes/ sneakers rather than the water shoes, would have preferred something with more grip. The waterfall itself once we made it there was beautiful but the hike there was nerve racking and terrifying. I’m sooooooo glad we all made it to and from safely but I was 1000% afraid of falling, really injuring myself or sliding off the edge the entire time. So much so that I couldn’t truly enjoy the waterfall because I was fearful of the hike back. I know it was the time of year that we went but there were plenty of times I would have felt safer trekking / swimming through the water and it taking longer rather than going up and down the muddy mountain holding on to trees, roots and branches for support. Our guides and the members of the tribe were life savers,Thank God !!!! I know we put them through hell but I’m so grateful for them. The landscape was breathtaking and indigenous tribe that we got to break bread with was trully the best part of the day. They were so welcoming and we learned so much about their culture. Overall I would Absolutely do another group trip like this now that I know what to expect! Shout out to Passport Poppin and The Hike Crew for setting this up!!! Miss Y'all Already!!!
