Part Time PilotReviews of parttimepilot.com

I have just started studying the online ground school program, I got the bundle with the CheckRide Prep after taking the free course which had so much great information. I researched many online schools before choosing PTP, I watched some of the youtube videos and then completed the free course which made me go for the full program. I like the way the information was presented and the site was easy to navigate. I took a chance and I'm only a few lessons in, but I am feeling a whole lot better about ground school in general. It is an intimidating task to take on especially when you read the statistics about the low completion rates of attempted private pilots over all. I work a full time job so traditional ground school isn't really an option. The price is right, content is good so far. Plus with the money back guarantee, I say go for it!

I chose this course because the name describes the exact audience it appeals to. While people that are set on getting their private license in an expedited frame can use this course and succeed, people without much free time who are still interested in flying will love this course. It can be completed in any amount of time and the pace of the course is up to the student. There is no expiration date on the course which is very convenient. The progression is very intuitive and everything in the course makes sense and has a purpose. The review sessions at the end of each topic and the optional videos provide additional learning opportunities while also reinforcing the information you just read into helpful visuals. The unique Facebook group that is open for discussions and misunderstandings along with the personal livestreams separate this course from the competition.

Good school so far

When I started my journey to my PPL I signed up with Part Time Pilot ground school. I am now about 21 hours into my training and still referencing back to the PTP ground school to learn some of the more complex topics. The private facebook group has been a very good source of information as I check it almost everyday to see what everyone else is posting. Thank you Nick for a great online ground school and content!

So far a good program. I love the go at your pace kind of speed. I’m only in the beginning with 6% done. Wish me luck.

We’ve all seen and possibly held a FAR/AIM book in our journey to become a pilot correct? What if I told you someone took the time to break down 1,467,987 pages into a online ground school that makes sense? You’d call me crazy wouldn’t you? Well I’ve got news for you, I’m not crazy, not the slightest. Part Time Pilot has made learning ground school intuitive and accessible. Lessons that are broken down to manageable sizes that aren’t overloaded with too much information. Questioning some of your thinking? Wondering if there is another way something can be explained? No worries, jump into a Tuesday evening learning session and get real time help you need. Part Time Pilot really has made learning in tune.

Excellent program, well laid out and not a copy and paste ideal. Everything is backed up with Nicks YouTube videos in each section highlighting the content for easy understanding. I am a father of two teens, and work full time, before this getting my PPL would have been impossible. Regards Mark

Absolutely awesome ground school and information to go along with it! Nick is easy to get a hold of for questions and answers!
