Part time pilot is a great ground school. I have a full time job and don't have a lot of free time on my hands but part time pilot has made it easy for me to sit down for an hour a day and still get a lot done. I definitely recommend!

There are a number of options out there…
There are a number of options out there to achieve your PPL FAA written exam instruction. None are as comprehensive or supported as the PartTimePilot school. Although having to work at your own pace, it can be difficult to learn concepts that are completely foreign and sometimes far beyond your comprehension, this course is very thorough and explanatory to where you 'get it' and if you still need help it's available from Nick and or the bi-weekly online classes and forum groups. If you have not decided on a ground school yet, go watch his YT videos and discover his teaching style, it's very effective. I'm super grateful and can't wait to get a great passing score on my FAA written. Thanks again Nick

So far so good
So far so good! Was gifted this ground school as an anniversary present and I am excited to fulfill a lifelong dream. Explanations are straightforward and detailed; I am confident once I complete the course that I will pass the written exam.

I really enjoy the use of videos throughout each lesson as well as examples used to understand and relate. Nick really shows that he cares with the amount of work he’s put into the program.

Awesome online ground school
Provided me with all the information I needed to take as pass my FAA written exam. User friendly website and the ability to work at your own pace. Lots of additional resources like the YouTube page and their Facebook to better understand the information. Highly recommended!

I started 2 other ground schools… 1 was ok, nothing terrible about it, but left a lot to be desired. The other, seemed ok at first until it came time to need support/ask questions because the “explanations” made no sense at all and provided numbers that had nothing to with the question which I got wrong (question was asking to calculate fuel usage, then the explanation told me I needed to find the baggage weight by subtracting the reported weight from the total weight ***the question provided the baggage weight***), then it was a nightmare. When I sent a screenshot and asked for clarification of why and how, the entire answer I got was “yeah, FAA does that” and never heard from them again.
After starting the course with Part Time Pilot, it was instantly clear that the quality was better. I didn’t realize how much the other 2 courses were lacking until I got going with this course. Explanations make perfect sense, support is quality.
Definitely recommended, don’t let the name/brand trick you into thinking it’s subpar, because so far, it’s been hands down the best.

Part Time Pilot - The best ground school!!
I originally found Part Time Pilot's podcast because I wanted a way to listen and learn on the way to work. Once I started listening - Nick has a way of breaking everything down so you don't feel "dumb" if you truly don't know a single thing about flying. Listening to the podcast gave me confidence and I decided, "Why not try ground school? I can do this!"
I signed up right away and I'm so happy I did. PTP's school is so easy to follow - very intuitive. I love the different ways you can learn. Nick has a mix of audio, video, writing (online and he even wrote a book!) - and... on social media PTP provides great nuggets of information. If any of my friends become interested in learning, I definitely know who I'm going to recommend they listen/learn from.
