Ordered parts through them and waited a while. Never heard anything about the parts being shipped so I emailed them. They told me the items were on backorder which I only found out they were backordered because I reached out to them. It's now been 3 weeks and still nothing has shipped, so I cancelled the order and bought the items elsewhere for $20 cheaper.

Some time ago I emailed Partstree with a question about parts for an Ariens mower attachment. I received a response almost immediately requesting some more information from me as the part numbers I sent were not found in Partstree's data, nor in their Ariens data. I mailed Partstree a copy of the macine's owner's manual and parts list clearly showing Ariens item number and the parts breakdown with parts number. This package was mailed, first class mail, on 12/04/25. As it was "only" first class there is no "received on" date. Since that time (last December 2025) I have not heard from Parts Tree nor has Parts Tree responded to emails from me in Jan 2026, Feb 2026, or Apr 2026. I will admit that the part needed is for an accessory that was new in the mid-60's, but Parts Tree was reccomended as a source for hard-to-find parts. It is strange that such a reputation could be bestowed on an outfit that couldn't find a product when the Owner's manual / parts list was provided, but is is even stranger that any service oriented business could not respond to repeated questions. Despite high hopes (based on initial contact), I'm afraid that Parts Tree has earned, at least from me, a reputation for being totally unreliable and un-helpful. Peter Colpitts

Had a rush job for a customer that required next day shipping cost of $79.95.... I've been waiting all day for this part as I ordered yesterday at 4:44 EST. No delivery. I then recieve a notice from UPS stating that the Next Day ordered part will not arrive until tomorrow. WHAT? I then call PartsTree at 1-512-628-8494 and speak with Brian. He advises me, that I ordered the next day shipping too late, and that the part will be delivered tommorow the 30th. I of course was charged the full amount with no resolution of a shipping cost reduction. His demeanor went from caring to Oh Well... Sorry.. I advised him that I will no longer be doing business with their company, and I will file a complaint with BBB.. He could care less.....

Promised belt were in stock and would ship out within 2 days. After a month the belts finally shipped. I will never use this company again. Beware of false promises.

I submitted an order for a part for my lawn mower and received a response 8 days later that parts of my order were not available. I felt this was suspicious since I only ordered 1 part. When I attempted to call them for info I kept getting an automated response that the call could not be completed at this time. Due to my lack of trust I cancelled the order. I am now waiting for a refund to my credit card.

Ordered 2 springs for a governor. At the time there was no mention of not having one of the springs. 8 days later I get an email saying they don't have one of the springs but it should be in soon. Several days later I call them and am told it should be shipping out in the next day or so. As of now 21 days later nothing has been shipped. I recommend using anybody else if time is of any concern. I have asked to just cancel my order at this point.

We needed a part for our Ryobi chainsaw. A customer Service rep heard my description of the issue and sent three parts. They were completely wrong, and two of them were the same part! The shipping was very high, and return shipping was customer paid. The diagram available to the customer to identify the right parts is completely inadequate, showing the machine from only one angle.

We ordered a part from partstree.com - shipping was covered - everything was paid for. The next day we got an email stating that we would need to pay an ADDITIONAL $400, from what I ALREADY PAID, for shipping the part. While I can understand some parts are more expensive to ship, why was this cost not provided during the checkout process?? Nothing was mentioned about this. Shipping was selected and paid for and included in my total, that I PAID FOR, at check out. Any other company that I purchased items that require freight shipping SHOW it clearly on their website and what I pay at checkout reflects that shipping cost. I NEVER had a company change the shipping cost AFTER I paid. This company is a scam doing the old bait and switch. And after some research, this seems to be a common tactic that this company does and has been doing for years. This has to be illegal, right? (And I really don't need the company replying with their b/s copy/paste answer - no excuse for this scam other than a crap company!)
