Having purchased several items onboard the Explorer of the seas, I can only say don’t ever buy from this company. They tell you exactly what you want to hear, but never deliver on the promises. They overcharge you, deliver faulty goods and just ignore your emails of complaint. I am still outstanding artwork 10 weeks after purchase and apparently it’s “ in for framing “ been there for over 4 weeks. I’ve asked for the CEO contact details 3 times but as I said they ignore you. The costs involved into Europe are ridiculous, they don’t send the proper paperwork, you’re then charged administrative fees, FedEx… don’t let me start on them, absolutely dreadful, you can’t do anything on their site if you don’t live in the USA. Never again.

Absolutely horrible experience. After being a customer w parkwest for over 15 years , parkwest has absolutely lost our trust. We purchased multiple items, once the finally arrived, one of the items was not the correct one that was purchased, still till this day I am unable to get parkwest to pick up the item. I have wrote to them multiple times, called them multiple times and still nothing has been done. Will not be buying from them ever again.

If you’re thinking about buying anything from Parkwest on a ship. DO NOT DO IT. In October, while on a cruise, I bought a picture. The contract said we will have it before the end of Jan 2023. I called Feb, Mar, Apr. still no picture. Parkwest manager agreed to a refund because it still wasn’t coming. May, June no credit. I finally received the credit but they didn’t refund the shipping and handling cost. I didn’t get a picture to pay shipping and handling. They scammed me out of $200.00! NEVER, NEVER AGAIN. This company is not trustworthy or dependable. The manager said too bad.

In May of 2002 and May of 2006, my mother-in-law purchased several Lucelle Raad "seriolithographs" on board a cruise ship. The "appraised value" certificates range from $500 to $780. After she passed away, we had these at a gallary in Bay head NJ, quite an affluent spot, for maybe 1/3rd of these levels, none even received a bid. I then did a little recon and discovered there were hundreds of identical prints on Ebay and other sites at prices that looked like a fire sale. Two months ago, they went on various sites like OfferUp and Facebook marketplace for $20 per. So far I have had one inquiry for one of the prints which they failed to even show up to buy. Before purchasing anything from these guys, do yourself a favor- read all their negative reviews on all the typical sites, then make your "investment" decision. Selling to elderly cruise passengers after cocktail hour- shameful.

We just returned from a Princess Alaska Cruise. We attended two art auctions on board by Park West Art Galleries. At the first auction, I won a prize in a little game that they had for the attendees. The prize was supposed to be an artwork. So when I went to claim my prize I was shown photographs of 5 paintings that they said I could choose from...however these paintings were not on board and I had to pay them $45 to have it shipped to me from their base in Miami. They had several hundred pieces of art in their gallery on board. But they did not have any of the art that they were offering as the prize. So why hold a contest on board when you don't have the prize available? Very strange? Definitely a red flag and a scam and I am glad I did not get sucked into it especially after reading all the other reviews. I've seen several scams like this online where something is offered to you for FREE and then you got to pay $$ for it to be sent to you and it may never arrive or it may not even be worth what you paid to have it shipped to you!! We took part in many games and lucky draws with several other shops on board and ALL prizes were given out instantly. No one was asked to pay any $$ in order to claim their prize! I really hope that people read the reviews before falling for the scam!

Park West Gallery did not hold the shipment for a month as requested and sent the tube early so it sat in the elements for over a month. The art was damaged, and Park West somehow concluded they are not responsible, we are! Park West Gallery reps on the ships say they will hold the shipment, but the shipping office does not follow these instructions making them irresponsible. Lousy cheap irresponsible company.

Paid for medicals & my Visa - told I would be reimbursed for Visa after we had virtual training but then they made it in person training where I would have had to pay for flights to the USA. Nearly 15k spent & the company went silent after messing a lot of people around. Disgusting.

We received amazing service by Park West Staff on our Cruise in December - were very excited by our 5 purchases - but on our return delivery has been laboured to say the least - we are still awaiting one after nearly 6 months. When I chase it up no-one responds - had to give a ring and I am still no further forward - I am absolutely disgusted at the level of service. Will never buy from them again
