Got terribly scammed by Parkwest Skye…
Got terribly scammed by Parkwest Skye Li and her team, she did not mentioned that we will not necessary received what we auctioned. Till now she did not replied my message ever since. We auctioned for a piece, but received another piece. This was what the support team replied:
"The registration number you received isn’t always the same registration number on your invoice.
Per terms of your invoice, you may receive a different edition, and therefore a different registration number.
Or, if it’s a unique work, it means you didn’t get the exact painting that was at the event. However, you did receive a unique, painting from the artist. If you look at the attached invoice, you will notice that there no serial number (.0000) on that piece means you were not invoiced for the exact piece that was at the event"
RATHER YOU GUYS SAVE UR MONEY AND DONATE TO CHARITY FOR GOOD DEEDS THEN FEED THEM. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

What an unbelievable wake-up call I…
What an unbelievable wake-up call I received when I tried to sell a ‘signed,’Picasso lithograph that I paid over $11,000.00 for….at auction, the auctioneer never bothered to mention that the signature was ‘estate signed,’ and NOT the original signature by the artist. The best offer I found online for the exact same work was $300.00! I also purchased a hand signed Miro lithograph that I paid $27,000 for…..best price I’ve seen since purchasing in 2015 was $3750. I purchased a ‘millennium,’ series Rembrandt portrait for about $7400.
Best resale price I’ve seen for that work was $3200….the fact that they don’t ‘buy back,’ or offer to put up pieces for ‘re-auction,’ should tell you what kind of operation they run. If you want to purchase Park West works, go to Artbrokerage.com and see what their art really sells for….you’ll be quite surprised. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!

THEY RUIN THE PASSION FOR ART
THEY RUIN ART
In my opinion art should be for everyone, but at Park West Gallery art is only for those who can afford it.
I was on Norwegian Epic cruiseship in April 2022, and there was an artauction, as an artlover, I went, because I was interested in seeing their paintings, and the first thing they asked me about was, if there was anything I liked, and I said yes, but not anything I could afford for now (I'am 20 years old and taking a gap year, so I don't have a lot of money, but I like painting and I love paintings, so I thought that it wouldn't be important, whether I could afford a painting or not, I would enjoy the show anyway, and art is a passion for everyone, not just for those who are rich). When I said, I couldn't afford anything, they just rolled their eyes at me and walked I away, I thought that was a weird thing to do, the guy who did it is called Thomas, and he worked on the Norwegian Epic from 19/4-22 to 27/4-22 (I don't now if he was on the ship before or after me). At the auction the auctioneer said that we could play a game, he didn't explain it very good, but we should just hold our cards up in the air to see, who could hold it up long enough, and what do you now, in the middle of a game, you have bought a painting for a lot of money (totally not worth the money, looked like a printed poster). I didn't understand the game, so I took my card down after, when I thought the game was over, but then another auctioneer called Megan, come over to me and asked me about, when I would like to make an appointment, to come and talk to them about the painting I just bought. I told her that it wasn't my intention to buy a painting, and I thought it was just a game, but she kept explaining to me that this was not a reservation. I know the rules for an auction, but I wouldn't pay 60 dollars for a poster, and when I kept explaining to Megan that they should make the rules for the game more clear, she just said "yeah whatever, its fine," and then she turned around and rolled eyes at me. I could see her pointing at me and talking about me to one of her coworkers, and they looked very despiteful and evil at me. When the auction was over, I walked out, and we got a free painting, but the lady who was giving them, just kept talking to a couple and pushed the painting into me without a word.
I can read that some of you have a lot more worse experiences than mine, but when you are cruising alone, and people treat you like that, you don't feel very good. So I would just warn you about this company. I don't thing they actually care for art, it seems like the only thing they care about is making money, and if art only becomes about money, you should really find another job, because that is just a mockery to art.
Art is about letting feelings out and enjoying a creation, not about fooling people to pay more and more, and certainly not a way to exclude people who won't buy anything in the way, they did it.
I saw how the talked about the other people, at the artauction, who didn't buy anything, and it is very clear that they only favorites those, who are buying from them. Not a nice way to make art a place for everybody.
I would not recommend this company. And I would avoid Megan at any cost, she is terribly mean.

Appalling service AVOID!
Purchased a piece of art whilst on a Regal cruise which was due to be shipped within 6 weeks. When it didn't materialise we contacted them to be told it was in for framing and would be delivered within the next 6 weeks.
When it still didn't arrive we contacted them again to be told they didn't actually have the material we chose to frame it and would we like to choose a different frame.
They tried to avoid a request for a refund and only when we said we would claim thee money back through the credit card company did the reluctantly agree. This was only a few days ago however we are still waiting for the money to be returned.
Regal cruises weren't the slightest bit interested or concerned about the poor service onboard their ship either.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Horrible people, The world deserves better
Such a horrible experience I'm so distraught. I purchased artwork in February of 2021 one of the pieces has been shipped to me twice with a damaged frame and now no one will respond to my emails or phone calls. Michael Valencia was assigned to help me and hasn't gotten back to me in a week. I've emailed and called everyday only to receive no response. Customer service told me he was in and that I would get a call same day that was yesterday haven't heard from anyone. Unless you're going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars with them I have a feeling they won't care about you. I'm just an average person with a love of art and I'm being disrespected.

Scammed me & ruined my credit score
I have purchased a painting from Parkwest before and had a good experience but after I got my artwork, I realized I paid way too much for it compared to the artist's website. Check the price before going to the art gallery.
The next experience was on the Carnival cruise 2019, I was in the art room & a man was trying to get me to purchase a painting that wasn't even on the ship, I told him I didn't want it but then he said "well let me take down your information & come back & tell me yes or no if you want it or not" He hands me an envelope & I leave. I enjoy the rest of my cruise & have no time to go back there. Obviously, this means I don't want it right? So I throw the envelope away & get off the ship, a few days later I get an email saying "your painting has shipped"! Oh no. He had my information, why didn't he call & ask me if I wanted it. It was just forced upon me. I never verbally said I wanted it, or to have it shipped to me & my boyfriend was there as my witness. So I immediately ship it back & then they charged me $206 in shipping fees. I emailed their customer service several times that there had been a misunderstanding & that I never wanted it shipped to me but they just kept coming back with an invoice for the shipping fee. I will never step foot in the art room on the cruise again. Avoid this company at all costs. I basically got scammed out of $206 & they messed up my credit score as well.
