ParkingMD helps streamline the medical evaluation step of the disability parking permit process online. We guide you through your state’s requirements, collect the details needed for a provider review, and keep your information handled through a secure intake. Once you complete your medical intake and upload any supporting records to substantiate your mobility limitations, we connect you with a licensed healthcare provider who reviews your information and determines whether you meet your state’s eligibility criteria. If you qualify, the provider completes and signs the appropriate state DMV form so you can submit your application to your local licensing office. If additional documentation is needed to make a determination, we’ll let you know what’s missing so you can move forward without guessing.ParkingMD is designed to make the process clearer and more convenient—especially for people who may have difficulty traveling or scheduling in-person visits. Please note that final issuance of a placard or plate is handled by your state DMV, and processing times, accepted documentation, and placard terms vary by state.

Buyer beware!!! Keep your money and see your own physician. Total ripoff. Your own physician will be cheaper and quicker.

Hi Michael, I'm sorry to hear you had a negative experience with our service. We understand that seeing your own physician is always an option, and for some patients that's the right choice.
That said, many of our patients come to us because their doctor doesn't offer this service, they don't have a primary care physician, or they want to avoid the time and cost of scheduling an in-person appointment. Our service provides a licensed physician evaluation and all the required DMV paperwork, often completed within 1-2 business days.
We also offer a full money-back guarantee, so if we're unable to help, you're never at risk of losing your payment. If there was a specific issue with your experience, we'd genuinely like to understand what went wrong and make it right. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

Warning: Parking MD is actually just a DMV form filing service, they do not qualify you for a handicap placard
I strongly advise against using Parking MD. They market themselves as a telehealth service for obtaining disability placards, but their process is misleading and ultimately unnecessary.
Here’s how it works:
Marketing Claims:
They ask you to fill out an extensive online intake form explaining why you need a disability placard.
They request supporting documents such as X-rays, hospital discharge letters, or ER visit records.
They promise that a doctor will evaluate your information and provide a note to qualify you for a placard.
Reality:
None of the information you submit actually matters.
In the end, they require you to get a qualifying letter from your own doctor. This is the official document the DMV requires.
If you can obtain this letter on your own, you can submit the DMV form for free without ever using Parking MD.
Misleading Process:
You only discover this requirement after paying and spending up to an hour completing forms, gathering documents, and scheduling an appointment.
Their suggested supporting documents (X-rays, discharge letters, ER visits) are irrelevant—they do nothing to help you qualify. They require you to get your own doctor's approval to "qualify" you, however if you have this note already you are already qualified by your doctor and can submit this form through the DMV yourself without paying ParkingMD $150.
Essentially, Parking MD only provides a DMV form filing service, but they make it appear as if they can “qualify” you for a placard.
Outcome:
I wasted several hours going through their process. After persistent calls and emails, I did get a refund, but the entire experience was frustrating and unnecessary.
Bottom Line:
Do not use this service. Save your time, money, and frustration by going directly to your own doctor and submitting the DMV form yourself.

Hi Demi,
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're truly sorry it left you feeling frustrated. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few things—both for you and for anyone reading.
First, to address the core concern: our licensed physicians sign the DMV form, not your personal doctor. We don't require a letter from your own doctor to qualify. Our board-certified, state-licensed physicians independently review your medical records and make their own clinical determination about whether you meet your state's criteria for a disability placard. If approved, they sign the official DMV form themselves.
This eliminates the 3-6 week wait many patients face trying to get an appointment with their own doctor—especially when their physician may be unfamiliar with the placard process or unwilling to sign.
Regarding medical records—X-rays, discharge summaries, and clinical notes absolutely matter. They're how our physicians verify that a patient has a documented condition that substantially limits mobility. We can't (and won't) approve anyone without clinical evidence.
Beyond the evaluation, we also mail completed, pre-filled state forms directly to patients and walk them through the entire submission process specific to their state's DMV requirements.
We're glad we were able to process your refund—our 100% money-back guarantee exists because this service isn't the right fit for everyone, particularly those who already have a doctor willing and available to complete the form quickly.
We help tens of thousands of patients every month, many of whom had been waiting months or were told by their doctors that they "don't do placard forms." We take that responsibility seriously.
If there's anything else we can help with or any questions we can answer, please don't hesitate to reach out.

SCAM WATCH OUT!!!
This is a fraudulent company claiming to offer a simple handicap placard doctor evaluation service. Their advertisements and website makes it seem easy and a "get approved or get refunded" service which it is NOT. Their trick is requiring you to do all the legwork which would require your own personal doctor to fill out the form in the first place, therefore making their service useless. Their customer service is an AI chatbot and nobody responds. I have not been refunded yet.

Hi James,
Thank you for sharing your concerns, and we're sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. We'd like to address your points directly.
First, to clarify how our service works: our licensed physicians sign the DMV form, not your personal doctor. We don't require you to get approval from your own doctor. Our board-certified, state-licensed physicians independently review the medical records you provide and make their own clinical determination about whether you meet your state's criteria. If approved, they sign the official form themselves, and we mail the completed, pre-filled paperwork directly to you with guidance specific to your state's DMV process.
The medical records we request (clinical notes, imaging, discharge summaries) aren't "legwork" that makes our service unnecessary—they're how our physicians verify eligibility. We follow state laws and must validate every patient's qualifying condition before approval.
Regarding customer service—we have an entire team of real people who make up our Patient Success team. We also lean heavily into technology to get our patients the fastest, most accurate information in real-time, 24/7. We're proud of our AI/human mix and believe it provides the best possible experience.
On your refund: please email us at [email protected] or use the live chat on our website and we'll make sure to issue it right away.
We help tens of thousands of patients every month and take every concern seriously. If there's anything else we can help with, please don't hesitate to reach out.
