ParkingMD helps streamline the medical evaluation step of the disability parking permit process online. We guide you through your state’s requirements, collect the details needed for a provider review, and keep your information handled through a secure intake. Once you complete your medical intake and upload any supporting records to substantiate your mobility limitations, we connect you with a licensed healthcare provider who reviews your information and determines whether you meet your state’s eligibility criteria. If you qualify, the provider completes and signs the appropriate state DMV form so you can submit your application to your local licensing office. If additional documentation is needed to make a determination, we’ll let you know what’s missing so you can move forward without guessing.ParkingMD is designed to make the process clearer and more convenient—especially for people who may have difficulty traveling or scheduling in-person visits. Please note that final issuance of a placard or plate is handled by your state DMV, and processing times, accepted documentation, and placard terms vary by state.

This is a scam website for people that don’t realize they can use their own dr and apply for a handicap placard themselves

Hello David!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that some patients may choose to work directly with their personal physician, and that can be a great option when timely access is available.
ParkingMD provides an alternative option by connecting patients with licensed medical providers who independently review medical information and determine whether certification is medically appropriate based on state requirements.
In this case, we were unable to complete the evaluation because the submitted documentation was not sufficient for the provider to make a medical determination. We understand the frustration this may have caused, and we have processed a full refund as a courtesy.
We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best moving forward.

Does not provide service they advertise on their website.
From their website, ParkingMD looks great and that they provide an excellent service. Back in March 2026, I utilized their services and uploaded my medical records. I got a message back that they needed a note stating my disability that impairs my ability to walk. I submitted an updated medical visit record that stated my diagnosis and how it's impaired my ability to walk. Throughout my whole interaction with ParkingMD (4 months), all I would get is the same canned message how they needed a medical record that states my diagnosis and how it impairs my ability to walk. I messaged back each time how these are the most current records I have and how they state what they are asking for. I would still get the same canned message back from "Sarah" every time. About two months into the process, their system all of a sudden stated that they are getting records from my doctor and that I gave them consent to contact my doctor to obtain records. I had never given them consent. After 4 months into the waiting with no updates or follow-ups even with them "contacting my doctor" for two months, I decided to request a refund. I reached out to customer support and was still getting the same canned messages and once I requested a refund the response I got back was "sure" and other very short responses.
They state on their website that I can easily chat with a provider through a phone call or video. Not once was I ever offered to speak to a provider and only communicated with "Sarah" who could only provide the same canned responses.
I would have loved to speak with a doctor and get an actual consultation based on my submitted medical records and what exactly, if anything would need to be stated on my records.

Hello Kyle!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sincerely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive repeated requests for documentation without a clear explanation of what was needed. Our providers must have sufficient medical documentation to support a certification, and when the records submitted don't meet the clinical or state-specific requirements, additional information may be requested. That said, we recognize we could have communicated your case more clearly and provided better guidance throughout the process.
We also apologize for the confusion regarding your medical records and for the lack of provider interaction you expected. Your feedback regarding our communication, record collection process, and support experience has been shared with our team as we continue improving our service.
Although we weren't able to complete your certification, we honored your refund request and hope this demonstrates our commitment to making things right when we fall short. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best moving forward.

Buyer BEWARE!! (UPDATED)
Buyer BEWARE!!! This is place is a joke. I'm a senior, and a disabled Vet, sent my medical records directly from the VA, over 474 pages of medical records. Had an appointment 07/10/2026 @ 11:45AM, logged on at 11:10AM to find that my appointment had been canceled, and I needed to reschedule. I called them, and they have a AI attendant answering the phone, when I did finally speak to a live person, I was told that they needed additional medical records?? What the hell is wrong with these idiots! If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...IT'S A DUCK (SCAM). My best advice, just get the paperwork from your Doctor, and save yourself the aggravation.
UPDATE!!
After I was told that they needed additional medical records, and after logging into my portal (as previous described in my first post), I received an email to log into my 11:45 appointment. This was after I had told them to cancel and refund my payment.
I did speak with someone who calls themself a Dr., he was on his phone and walking down a hallway, couldn't tell if he was in a hospital. I'm absolutely certain this individual never looked at my medical records, he asked me why I wanted a placard. As I described in my intake documentation, I've had 3 back surgeries since 1988, and my Lumbar is all rods and screws. He asked if I use a cane, wheelchair or any other assistive device to walk, and I use both a walking cane, and I've personally bought an electric wheelchair, which I use when I'm going to be out for long periods of time where I'll need to be doing a lot of walking. He then told me he's approving my paperwork and take the paperwork to my local DMV to get my placard.
It appears to me that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. The jury is still out as to wether I'll actually receive any paperwork, I'll update the review again within the next 48hrs. That's plenty of time for this company to send me the paperwork, and if I don't receive the paperwork within that time frame, I'll continue with requiring my refund. To be quite honest, ParkingMD has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth, and depending on what happens in the next 48hrs, will determine wether this company can get back in my good graces.
2nd UPDATE!! (07/11/2026)
Received a notice in my PARKING MD portal with the heading "Application Approved" with "SUBJECT: Your Parking Permit Documents are Ready."
It's says "Step 1: Download Your Completed Physician Certification
This is your official, signed documentation required by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). It must be submitted with your application.
➡️Download Your Certification Documents
However, when I downloaded the document it's corrupt, and will not open. I'm very computer savvy, and work with PDF's daily, both opening them and creating them. So the document is truly corrupt. What's even more disheartening, is I spoke with their customer service yesterday afternoon (Sam), and he told me they'ed be mailing me (By USPS) my paperwork, so you can Imagine my surprise, when I saw that I needed to download the document to take to the DMV.
Again, this just reiteratives what I put in my 1st update that this company is a complete cluster...... The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. I've sent them a text through the portal telling them that the PDF is corrupt, and I'm awaiting their response. If/or when I actually have the completed documentation in hand, I'll provide an additional update to this complete fiasco.

If you are looking to throw your money…
If you are looking to throw your money away here it is. This company is a total scam. I can not believe these positive reviews. The form they send is not conducive in getting a placard. They sent me a NYS DMV form which is not the correct form. I need a Brookhaven Town form with a wet signature. They for some reason will not respond to my request. Don’t be fooled the money back guarantee is for their approval. They will approve you but you will not get your placard with their documentation. This is a total scam.
Not sure how to respond to Parking MDs response but I will try. Why do I have to reach out to you? You do not respond to my request. Send me the correct form wet signed or ask me for the form. Your response further implies your inability to make this right and take my money with out delivering your service.
My issue has been raised, you acknowledged it, now fix it. Your service is all about streamlining the process but obviously that is not the case. Send me the correct form wet signed as you acknowledged. Not sure why you have not sent me the correct form as acknowledged previously or refund my money.

Hi Robert!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience and apologize for the frustration it caused.
We'd like to clarify that if your local municipality requires a specific town form, such as the Town of Brookhaven application, our providers can complete that form as well, including providing a wet signature when required. We regret that this wasn't communicated clearly during your experience.
Our goal is always to provide the documentation required by the issuing authority, and we'd be happy to help complete the correct form for you. Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] so we can assist with your Town of Brookhaven paperwork and help get your application back on track.
We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to make this right.

Really bad experience with them
Really bad experience with them. I provided exact specifications along with the medical reasons from my chiropractor. Chat barely responds, and when they do, it’s just a generic AI reply with no human follow-up. Calling them is an equally terrible experience. You are in the business of facilitating an easy process for decal renewals, yet I’ve been waiting for a reply on a refund for over 10 days. Absolutely unacceptable.

Hi David!
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We understand how frustrating it can be to wait for updates, especially when you're seeking a renewal. In your case, additional documentation and a signed consent form were required before we could proceed, and we appreciate you completing those requirements.
We also apologize that our communication fell short. Your comments regarding our chat and phone support have been shared with our team as we continue working to improve the responsiveness and overall customer experience.
We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve our service. We wish you all the best moving forward.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience! Complete an other waste of time. Waited for my appointment, none of the option they gave allowed me to login. I had to call them to be able to even login into my “appointment”, only to never physically see a doctor. I was just shoot out of the chat. Wasted six hours going back-and-forth with them. Only to have them reschedule my appointment for the following morning. Called off of work. And the whole process was just ridiculous. Did not get approved and just asked for a refund after they kept asking for more documentation. All in all. I wasted around eight hours of my time for absolutely nothing.
Edited after ParkingMd response:
I did resubmit in “patients new name” as requested. And I was also NEVER given the documents to be able to resubmit, I had to find them on my own and re-upload. Your platform is very flawed, the option to connect to my appointment never worked. I had to call and waste more time on the phone to have a direct link be sent to me when it should have initially just clicked. After being told by you agents as well as the doctors office they had ALL THE DOCUMENTS needed and the following day my appt would happen. Guess what happened following day, the link I was given never worked. And the doctor logged out of the chat window within 30 seconds of me logging into my appointment. At that point I had to call you guys because I wanted a refund, only then was I told there are issues with the documents and they wouldn’t accept them. I asked for a refund!! And they still messaged me to reschedule my “missed appointment”. What an absolute joke

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you encountered throughout the process.
After reviewing your case, we found that the initial intake information needed to be submitted under the patient's name rather than the parent's, which required additional documentation before the provider could proceed. We understand this created delays and added to an already frustrating experience, and we apologize that the process was not communicated more clearly.
We also recognize the inconvenience caused by the appointment issues and the amount of time you spent trying to complete the evaluation. As requested, we have issued a full refund in an effort to make things right.
Your feedback is important to us and is being used to improve both our intake process and communication so future patients have a smoother experience. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to assist and wish you and your family the very best.
