Website doesn't work, the only form of 'customer service' is an ai bot that lied constantly. After 30 minuets i convinced it to give me a phone number that doesnt work. If your university uses parchment, you don't have a degree

ABSOLUTE nightmare. This place reeks heavily of another Learing Center only with foreign speaking crappy customer support that takes a weeks to get a LIVE person on the phone. I pay for a printed paper copy ($20) for my GED from 1997 from a school thats closed now. They force you to send it to a local facility like a University. So I picked UCCS in colorado springs. They use First Class USPS mail which comes with free tracking automatically but they dont provide this on Parchment even though they see the scans themselves. Ridiculous. Well days and weeks go by. No mail ever made it to the University and the USPS post office it delivered to sits 2 miles from the University. Long past 7 business days and a total of weeks. Calling parchment is like calling and talking to a scammer from India. No one speaks fluid English, which is frustrating in itself. They WONT refund you. They only tell you to pay MORE money to place another order where they ENSURE you can send it to yourself. I SCOURED the site on every step, every detail and it presented NOTHING about sending it to your home. Meanwhile they seem impartial to the fact that the payment you already made is POOF! - gone! Then I demanded they send another one to which they claim they are "doing" but theres no way to verify the second copy. No tracking. Which is like the first order, but worse. Yippie. This has got to be the longest running scam site EVER. Its so corrupt and wrong on so many levels its hard to put into words. Its like a functioning fraud center in between the CA department of ed and you. Meanwhile, California department of education will send you a copy for FREE. It just takes longer. Well as long as this has taken so far so I guess im the fool. On top of this there is a unopened diploma floating around USPS or UCCS. WONDERFUL. More fraud I have to worry about. Did they EVER send the thing in the first place?? The UCCS school mailroom says they rarely just "lose" incoming mail. I wonder if Parchment is sending our diplomas to other individuals for fraud. So many anomalies its insane.

The absolute worst experience. Needed my daughter’s transcript to enroll in a new school and it was supposed to be electronically delivered in a couple of days. Two weeks later there is still no transcript, so I request a refund, as her transcript was no longer needed because it was obtained elsewhere. Asked for refund and opened a case, and instead of replying to my refund claim, they send the transcript the following week with no further correspondence, after I already said I didn’t need it anymore. Don’t trust these people. They will take your money and deliver garbage service. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Parchment has terrible customer service! I am unable to merge accounts due to issues with their website, and I have been waiting for assistance for a month. I still have not received my diploma, and I have been waiting for two months. The customer service representatives keep asking the same questions, do not address all of my concerns, and never resolve my issues. Schools need to stop using Parchment, please!!

Customer service was extremely friendly but incredibly under equipped to handle basic administrative tasks regarding accounts. I was unable to merge 2 Parchment accounts and they ended up just deleting both accounts, which sucked because I had a diploma linked to one of those accounts. Now, the diploma exists linked to no account and Parchment refuses to simply relink the diploma to my new Parchment account, citing FERPA laws, which feels disingenuous and inaccurate since I am the student in question requesting my own diploma to be linked to my new Parchment account. I have email records going as far back as a month over this one issue, and when customer support finally just admitted that they couldn't do anything, they just closed my ticket on me. This is after they deleted BOTH of my Parchment accounts and then put the responsibility on me when I kept explaining that their account merge process is BROKEN.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Parchment Support was extremely unhelpful. Parchment's policy regarding expired document links, and its complete unwillingness to provide an updated link to customers who were unable to obtain the document they paid for, is simply bad business. If a customer pays for a product and does not receive it, regardless of whether the download link has expired, Parchment should have the integrity to make the situation right by ensuring the customer receives the product that was purchased. Instead, Parchment showed no compassion for a paying customer who never received the document that was paid for. Rather than resolving the issue, the company required me to purchase the same document a second time. This gives the impression that generating additional revenue takes priority over correcting a situation where a customer did not receive the original product. I have never experienced customer service that was this inconsiderate. There was no genuine effort to understand the circumstances, no willingness to do the right thing, and no meaningful attempt to help after the situation had been fully explained. It was extremely disappointing and discouraging to encounter a company that, in my experience, placed its policy and additional payment above treating a customer fairly.
