PantoneReviews of pantone.com

Was going to add Pantone-colors to a project when they were nowhere to be found???? Googled to find I now have to pay for them. And Adobe just increased their price for a lesser product. Great disappointment!

Brutally basic platforn that doent function right, and no answer from after sales on problems and issues. Disgrace that they even offer a product, I will will using a differnt colour managment system moving forward

It's greed, robbery and double dipping. Pantone should be paying InDesign users for specing their colors on our projects so they can make money on selling their inks to our printers. There are many like me who only use their colors a few times a year and are being forced to pay their high price. I put them in the same category as greedy big pharma – they have us over a barrel with no place else to go. Plus the Pantone Connect works like junk. This is a perfect opportunity for someone to come up with an alternative to Pantone. I'd grab it in a second and wouldn't use Pantone again if they paid me.

Why if the Pantone subscription is $89 a year, am I being charged £107 ($140) by Pantone????? Why is the Pantone Connect app so ridiculously rubbish - was is developed by a 1975 tech team? Why are Pantone being ridiculously GREEDY?

So is it purely corporate greed that has taken something that worked so well and replaced it with garbage software that is nearly impossible to understand? I am almost willing to pay the $8.00 per month ransom to return the former way of using Pantone in Adobe. Just make it stop!

Disappointing. Adobe and Pantone are shameless. Both are wrong for reaching deeper into the pockets of the design community. Pantone libraries used to integrated into Adobe applications. Not any more. The Pantone Connect Basic Plan is a worthless plugin. It does not allow you to add Pantone colors to your Adobe swatches. That simple/basic functionality is only available with a Premium Plan for $89.99/year. To get my team access will be close to $900/year. That's on top of the Pantone color books we've purchased over the years. Shame on you, Pantone. I hope this is a momentary lapse in judgement and Adobe and Pantone will come to their senses before it's too late.

Greedy dinosaur of a company, I hate Adobe with a passion due to their greedy business practices, and now Pantone has joined them on my despised list. I hope this company goes bust or some other company replace them, it's almost enough to make me give up on print design altogether.

I hope your greedy pockets go dry. What a joke! And you have already raised your prices 150% from August to November. Wonder how much this is going to cost in a year?
