I bought the Panda Drum as a gift for my 5 year old granddaughter. She is hyperactive and needs to be “busy” constantly. She likes dancing and music so I thought I’d give it a try. It arrived within a week and she immediately started to make music- one of the mallets broke within ten minutes! This resulted in a meltdown that lasted too long inspite of explaining that she could still make music with one stick! I’m sure her mom wanted to kill me, especially since I purchased it without her consent:( Is there any way to replace the mallet? I saw her using it and her 35 lb self shouldn’t have caused it to break that easily/ quickly. So, maybe the mallets aren’t designed for kids?

I was playing my Panda and a great-grandmother who lives here had her two great grandchildren over for a minute. Next thing I know they are standing behind me, listening, I asked them if they wanted to try it, they both did. I had bought 3 Panda's cause my niece has a very hyper,and I mean very hyper child he's 5yrs old I think, so I was excited for him to check out his reaction, he wasn't moved a bit, just kept running around, wasn't even curious, so I told my sister, his grandma, we will try it again, but we will just play it and not ask him to try it next time, I think if we are enjoying it, it could draw him in. So it worked on two kids, but we need more time on my nephew, he's a hard case. I think it will win out in time.

I love my drum. However, I have one suggestion. I would like the music in the accompanying book to be in a larger print. It is much too small to read while playing.

I was happy to order 2 of the mini Panda drums as Christmas presents for a neighbors children. I did not immediately open them but then realized I wanted to hear the very melodious sounds like in the ad. I only opened 1 and upon trying it, the sound was more tin like than melodious. I do believe the children will enjoy them though.

The drum arrived on time, looked nice, and came with a handy carrying case. Unfortunately, my grandsons only played with it a few times and didn’t get interested, so I decided to return it. I was very upset to discover a $16.48 handling fee and a required return shipping label that would make the total return cost over $50. After I posted a review expressing my frustration, the company called the next day. Their representative listened, acknowledged the unexpectedly high return cost saying they hadn't expected my return costs to be so much, offered a full refund, and waived the return shipping fee. I’m sorry the drum wasn’t a hit with my grandsons, but the company earned five stars for its outstanding customer service!

I've answered these questions. I'm looking for learning tools before I make anymore investments. Thank you Jesus⁷

Love the Panda! It is my second one. Bought for our 3 yo granddaughter. I like the tone of the larger ones but this is perfect for her!

Love the feeling that the tones of the drum create - supporting my meditation practice and my counseling practice. Would love to know how much richer the sound of the larger model is. Would have purchased it - but for the price.
