I tried contacting them to get some miniatures and other than one reply at the start, I never even got a single miniature painted! They claim they seem to be having an issue where emails to them aren't getting through. That would have been believable if it happened to me once or twice but I have messaged them multiple times to try and get a quote on some stuff I wanted to paint and not once did I get a reply. I must have sent an email to them more than a dozen times asking for a quote but not once did they get back to me. The one time they did get back to, which was the first time I asked them, I asked some follow up questions like price of shipping, mixing of quality levels etc. but I never got a reply from them after that. So I went to their profile on Facebook and made a comment on one of their posts. I even messaged them directly through Messenger to see if I could find some help from them. And I did get some help. When I asked for a full list of prices for Age of Sigmar miniatures, they sent me an empty Excel spreadsheet. All the units there were priced at 0! I even sent them a screenshot of the spreadsheet to show that I wasn't lying. When I tried to bring this up with them on Messenger, every message I sent to them received a "couldn't send" error. And when I went to their profile, I received a screen saying that "This content isn't available right now". Was I blocked? Well, I checked with an alternate account if something happened to their profile and it seems to be running normally. What's more, the comments I made in one of their posts have been hidden so I think it's fair to conclude that my profile was blocked. I once reached out to Siege Studios to see how much getting an Adeptus Custodes army painted would cost and while I found their prices outside my budget, they at least had great communications and were prompt in their responses. On the other hand, Paintedfigs boast about how their miniature painting prices are the lowest. Their level of communications seems to follow in that regard. I highly recommend others look elsewhere to get their miniatures painted.

When discussing the details about an order & how it would be handled I asked what were the cancellation policies as I wanted to be informed before placing the first of my orders. After answering this question I was refused service for not "commit to a deal". Now I understand that they're allowed to refuse service but to do so over a normal standard question? While they're an affordable painting service there are comparable prices for services in Spain & Poland who have the capacity to clarify details. The only feedback I can provide as I was unable to use the service is that they should be capable of spending a few emails to answer questions of a interested client before suddenly refusing service. its very off-putting. It's a shame really as they seemed quite friendly & cordial at first but I wouldn't be comfortable trusting a company with thousands of dollars when they can be so unprofessional. Edit: Upon discussing this service with others I learnt about a previous controversy of Paintedfigs, I cannot believe this behavior, For anyone that wants to do some research search "paintedfigs discountfigs" & use the wayback machine to pull up the Dec 01 2021 date.
