System problems over customer satisfaction
The worst web and app and customer service ever. Don't go with PADI if you have a choice. I took my Open Water certificate with PADI but since their systems were down at the time, my records didn't show up after I finished the course. I reached out to the customer service to get my certificate before diving on Galapagos, which resulted in an endless mail conversation and technical explanations about the system and what I as a client need to do to get my cert. I did everything they told, the diving school was slow in answering, and still nothing was working. PADI could see my results in the backend of the system but they still couldn't fix me the cert. Now it has been 3 weeks since the course and no certificate, really hope they don't ruin my diving vacay in Galapagos next week! Tip to PADI: rebuild your web and mobile applications with modern technologies. Many computer engineers can do wonders. Also, never make it the client's fault if your systems are down / something isn't working as it should. I paid 400 dollars to get certified, not to end up being bounced back and forth between the HQ and the dive school. I don't care whose responsibility it is to solve the issue, just solve it. Thanks.
