Mo’orea honeymoon 2018
In the beginning, everyone was very helpful. I even referred some people to you. (Was told to watch the mail...a gift for referral was coming because they confirmed the couple booked....nothing showed up) Now, a heads up for people leaving Louisiana. Stay the day/night in LA. How long the flights are and wait time in airports will drive you insane. First arriving at LAX, no one told us we had to leave the main airport with all our luggage and what a mile or more to the international airport. Then no one told us that there were only 2 restaurants downstairs for your 6 hour wait to even get to check-in for your flight. (You’re not allowed upstairs were everything is until you can check in). Then, once your upstairs and sent to were your flight is no one at the airport knows what the hell they are doing, calling flights then you get up and they tell you oh sorry wrong flight, no seat for people, then you take several buses to your plane ( the bus driver almost got us kill by driving into a taking off plane....he had to slam on his brakes! Air Tahiti Nui doesn’t turn on air when on plane until you are taking off seats sooooo uncomfortable, stuff not nice! Oh and you have to shoe your passport like a million times with tickets. I have never seen this! Once we landed, you take another bus and wait again for a boat then wait. Once you finally get on the boat to take another bus to whoever you are staying. Then you wait another 5 or so hours to get a room. You are beyond tired, sweaty, smelly. We got no flower lay when we arrived just a small shot of juice and if you want some piece of coconut. You can go to pool and other areas of resort but, after 16 hours you want to shower and get different clothes on. The cheapest drinks are $17 and are very small. Bottle water is small and $5.50. It was very hot and humid and give arriving guests no accommodations until their rooms are done. Sad!!! Pacific for less put everything together for us but we had to remind and ask about our package deal . No flowers on our honeymoon bed no champagne, House keeping even though away our lays from when we landed. Told management and they did provide two more but we where supposed to have the originals plus those per there advertising. They changed our credit card for someone’s else’s cab. Had to go threw that ordeal. Pacific in their paperwork states someone was to met us at checkout at the airport, like the did on check in . No one was there and the airport security read it and stated....yes that is what it says .... go to this bus and the ladies are wearing this orange dresses. We walked up to them and didn’t have time for us and were rude. Funny....it seems once they had your money, they were done with you. Beyond beautiful place but after the whole ordeal (which is more then what in writing) we won’t be using you again.
Response from Pacific For LessMay 31, 2018
Thanks very much for taking the time to give your detailed feedback, Michael. I'm very sorry to hear about the hassles you experienced on your trip to French Polynesia booked through Pacific For Less. While it seems like the majority of these issues are complaints about things outside of our direct purview (the airport in Los Angeles, the airplane, flight times and logistics, the bus driver, the hotel management, the prices, etc.), I understand in reading about your experiences that you did not feel supported by us. We pride ourselves on a very high level of service to our clients, so we really take that to heart. I definitely want to address the issues with the things we had confirmed for you that you did not receive -- namely the honeymoon amenities, and the departure assistance at the airport. Please contact me at [email protected] so we can identify you properly and we will happily refund you for the honeymoon amenities and departure assistance, with our sincere apologies. We will also make sure you get credit (and our thank you gifts) for any referrals you sent our way. I only wish we would have known you were experiencing difficulties while you were on your trip so we could have taken some of the stresses you experienced off your hands, and dealt with the hotel on your behalf -- we would have gladly done so. But this is something we will definitely stress to our clients going forward, to let us know right away if things are not going well, so we can do our best to smooth the path. Again, thanks for your valuable feedback, and I hope to hear from you soon. Jennifer
