Une expérience décevante
Nous avons été déçu de la qualité de l'image (1080p, etes-vous sur ?) et du micro qui ne renvoi pas un son fidèle. De plus, la fonction de mise à jour automatique du produit ne fonctionnait pas (depuis la France en tout cas) : est-ce parce que le logiciel n'était pas à jour que notre expérience n'a pas été bonne ? Nous avons regretté l'absence d'application Windows pour le paramétrage et l'obligation de passer par une application Android ou IOs. Les options de paramétrages sont quasi inexistantes. Impossible de paramétrer des masques (pour ne pas filmer une partie de la salle) ou pour configurer le comportement de la caméra (par exemple, pouvoir "épingler" une vue. En résumé, si Meeting Owl part d'une bonne idée, le produit à besoin de s'améliorer autant du point de vue matériel que logicielle. Pour s'imposer en entreprise, il est essentiel de pour mettre à jour ou configurer le produit directement depuis Windows/Ios

Hi Fred, We are so sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your Meeting Owl experience! I’d love to help get these issue resolved for you and make sure that your experience is great going forward. The Meeting Owl Pro camera is always 1080p, however, some video conferencing platforms will actually reduce the video quality of your webcam when faced with poor internet connection. If the internet connection isn’t strong, the video may appear fuzzier as they are attempting to sacrifice video quality for making sure that the audio stays strong. We recommend checking in with your video conferencing platform to make sure that you are setup with their recommended bandwidth requirements. As for the software updates, they happen automatically when you register your Owl and connect the device to WiFi. If you didn’t receive your software updates automatically, I would love if you could reach out to us at [email protected] so that we can look into this with you. We don’t have a desktop version of the mobile app right now, but it is something our team is exploring for the future. Once you download the mobile app, you will have the ability to pin your video feed like you described through our feature called the Camera Lock.
