The compression shorts are awful unless you want you "bits" on display. Rides up into the crouch to an uncomfortable degree and somehow doesn't cover the butt.

It’s possible that the size may not be the right fit for you. From your description, it sounds like the shorts might be a bit too small and therefore too tight. Perhaps a different size would fit you better.

'Winter' Bib Tights? Maybe in California
These are high quality, stretchy, tights. I like that you can stretch them down far enough to take a pee. I also like the zipper on the leg. I own a half-dozen long, bib tights from different brands. I have also purchased over a dozen Owayo jerseys and jackets with good results. I expected that when Owayo designated these as 'winter' tights with 'micro-fleece' that they would actually be warmer than run-of-the-mill long tights. They are exactly the same weight as all my existing long tights, not even slightly thicker. I was expecting more, perhaps more like the weight of the Owayo softshell jacket, which I like.

Size down
The sizing seems off. Not sure the socks I ordered would be snug around anyone’s shin pads and thighs. I’d also like to see elastic at the bottom.

Fit is just ok
Fit is just ok. The collar is pretty big for the size M that I ordered, sleeves are a little short as well. Logos and placement is spot on, so that is nice. Colors are great.
The pad in the bib is really bad. More like a triathlon pad… I probably won’t be able to use it on more than a 25-30 mile ride.

Perhaps one of our other models would be more to your liking. We also offer the option to request samples before placing your order, so you can take a closer look at the products beforehand.
Regarding the pad in the bib shorts: We offer two different models – the Race Pad and the Endurance Pad. You ordered the Race Pad, but the Endurance Pad is designed more for long distances and may be a better fit for your needs.
We regret that you may not have selected the gear that would have been optimal for you, but we hope you still enjoy wearing your products.

Design and quality are fine, hidden cost were not appreciated
Design and quality are fine. The reason for 3 stars is because Velcro is not included in the cost of the socks. It was not clear it was not included in the cost. I was contacted after I submitted payment for the order and told it wasn’t included. They told me it would $9 per sock to add it!!! The socks were $20 to begin with. Nearly 50% markup for Velcro is obscene. I was spearheading two teams orders and I couldn’t go back to them and tell them I needed 50% more money. It’s ridiculous that Velcro isn’t included as it is the industry standard for holding socks up. It felt like a bait and switch.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re not satisfied with the process of your order. However, we believe there’s been some misunderstanding. We offer socks with and without Velcro. On our website, we clearly distinguish between these two different products. Many of our customers order socks without Velcro and are very happy with them. Depending on what you wear for hockey, Velcro may or may not be necessary. In the confirmation email, we simply reminded you that you ordered the model without Velcro. Socks with Velcro are, of course, slightly more expensive. However, there is no obligation to change your order. Please also note that the price for your hockey socks was higher because you selected express production, which incurs a 30% express surcharge. Our service is by no means a “bait and switch,” and we’re truly sorry if that’s how it came across to you. Thank you for your understanding.

Cumbersome sample return procedure.
The products were correct and exactly as designed. I like them very much. I did not like the long waiting time to receive them. I did not like spending more money to send back the sample that I did not request. I did not like Alison requiring me to produce a receipt from the post office to prove that I sent the sample back to the address it was originally sent from. It felt like she did not believe me (yes, she said she did believe me, but her tone implied the opposite). The fact that the department that received my returned sample didn't update her was a sign that your company doesn't have all of its pieces talking to each other.
