Overstock.comReviews of overstock.com

Light was just what I wanted and just as described. Quick delivery, I’m very satisfied.

Good product. Good service.

Lots of lighting to choose from. Decent prices. Fast shipping. BUT, very deceptive website regarding whether item qualifies for the discount code. Says it does on the shopping page, but when you go to check out, no discount!

Timing was perfect and as stated.

Their customer service is very bad , I purchased a set of patio furniture and it supposed arrive in few days later, but delivery date passed I called their customer service after 40 minutes waiting someone from India answered the phone , I asked him if my furniture has been shipped or not , he said he doesn’t have an idea 😕 I waited an other few days , still no sign of my furniture. Each time you call them you have to wait 30-40 minutes.

I found a quality product that was hard to find elsewhere.

I am less than impressed with your customer service and shipping departments. My order was supposed to deliver on 9-10. It did not show nor were there any notifications as to why. I contacted customer service on 9-11 and was told that you were out of stock. I cancelled the order and looked around the web for other sources. Found the unit at Bed Bath and Beyond $50.00 cheaper so I ordered there. On 9-14 I received an email saying I couldn't cancel since the unit was already being processed. How did it go from no stock to being processed? I am not believing anything you are saying at this time. I get notification from my credit card that they have a charge from Overstock. Naturally I protest and refuse the charge. On 9-15 I get an email telling me it is on the way yet when I checked status your system indicated I had nothing on order so I assume my cancelation went through. Lo and behold it shows up. During this process I discover that Overstock and Bed Bath and Beyond are under the same company. So I now have a question. Who actually sent the unit to me? Bed Bath and Beyond or Overstock? If you are the same company why didn't you notify me that I was ordering from the same organization a second time? The only reason you are getting a 2 at this point is that I actually like the unit. Otherwise you would be getting a 1. How do we resolve the cancel payment dispute?

When I saw these chairs and they had to be put together, I thought maybe I could do it. However, since I’m a senior citizen and the product quite heavy, I could not lift them to put them together, so I had a young friend do it. Apparently there were some screws and/or washers missing and he had to improvise (which I could not have done). As far as the finished product goes, I love the chairs. Thank you.
