As I began my search for the perfect engagement ring, I was unsure about all the important components of what is need for the perfect ring. Living in NY, I was very skeptical of the jewelers that was at my Disposal. I consulted a good friend that referred me to Michael McGivern of McGivern Diamonds. Not only did I never met Mike in person, my complete transaction was done via email. Go figure coming from NY .. The service I received was beyond expectation. Mike was at my beck and call every time I had a question. He even assisted me in choosing the right design. His pricing is very fair and he delivered 100% of what was discuss in the beginning of the transaction. I plan on using Mike for all my personal custom jewelry work. After sending a diamond solitaire in for reconditioning after approximately five years of wear, the ring was serviced at no,charge, and it came back to me extremely quickly and in gorgeous condition...like new! We look forward to purchasing more rings for our ten year anniversary...definitely a great company to work with.

Excellent customer service. I ordered a wedding band for my fiancee--guessing the ring size (it was to be a surprise). Mike assured me that he would resize the ring at no extra charge and did so in a very, very timely fashion. When I sent the ring back, he resized it and mailed it back to me the same day. Few times in life does the reality exceeded the anticipation. Michael McGivern was direct and frank with us, as we crafted our 30th anniversary ring. He did not try to oversell us, and was sensitive to our budget. Today FedEx brought the ring to our door, as my wife opened the ring box, she exclaimed, "Oh how beautiful" a special memory was created. We highly recommend the quality of service received from McGivern.

After finding out that I was ripped off by a local jeweler in my area, I was angry. I did my research and found the reviews for McGivern to be fair and honest. So I asked Mike to look at my old diamond, and he sadly gave me the news I didn't want to hear. This prompted me to purchase a new diamond bigger and at the time, i couldn't afford the custom setting I wanted . To make sure I wasn't getting hosed again, I had an independent GIA appraiser appraise my stone to make sure it was, in fact, the real thing. The stone was put in my old setting and I told him he would hear from me soon. Well, for my birthday, my husband said I could get the setting I wanted. Mike was extremely patient with me answering every question promptly and made me feel at ease making such a big purchase on line. The CAD drawing came back in the time frame he said and it looked like everything I had wanted. I was excited And then today, I got my ring. It is even MORE BEAUTIFUL than the drawing could ever show. I love everything about my ring and its not too "blingy". I am in love with the ring and Mike has a customer for life. I will refer everyone I know . He is honest, fair, and is all about customer service. I'm glad I found McGivern Diamonds!
