Overall service is good.Value is also quite high. Alex is to be commended. To be more specific customer service communication is readily available to assist in the process. Job turnaround is fast. Sent them a damaged external hard drive, which contained data I needed to access. Outsource was very responsive and recovered and delivered all the data on the drive ahead of their projected schedule.

Excellent service but too expensive.

I have worked with many data recovery companies over the years. Some will start off at well over 1k+, hold the data hostage in hopes you will pay their ransom. When you call them back it is like negotiating with a fly by night car dealership. Not ODR. The people leaving smear reviews don't own a data recovery business and are ignorant to the costs involved. Just one SPARC disk imager to clone a drive runs over 10k! Then one must factor in utilities, salaries, insurances, payroll, consumables, training, tooling, etc. It is easy to spend well over a million dollars for a fully equipped lab. Heather used to work in sales and she was amazing! The only gripe I have is having customers pay $80.00 for a small 1TB Harddrive. With the steep price of recovery and drives being so cheap if not free to them they should be included. Or better yet, they have a Gigabit line so even if it takes a week let clients download all their data up to say 500 gigs?

The service itself was really good but ODR sent my files back on a drive formatted for a PC instead of a Mac, so now I still have to buy another drive to transfer the recovered data over to so I can reformat the new hard drive while it's empty.

Recovered files quickly. Good communication throughout the process. Price was higher than expected; however, we were able to reach a pricepoint that worked for both sides.

I did receive a call from the company telling me they could not work with my drive. I appreciate that they did not try to bill me a large amount when it was likely there would have been no gain.
