I have used Outsource Data Recovery's services on two occasions, and in both cases the experience was excellent. In the first instance, about two years ago, my PC's hard drive failed and I thought I had lost all my data, including hundreds of family photos. I found Outsource Data Recovery online and they seemed to be the least expensive option, so I decided to give them a chance. They were able to fix the drive (replaced the PC board), the computer booted on the first try, and it really did only cost $60.00. In the latest instance an external drive attached to my DVR became unusable. I know this probably appears frivolous, the drive didn't contain any important data, but it did have a lot of saved programs that I didn't want to lose, so I sent it to Outsource. They were unable to fix the drive, but they were able to retrieve the recordings and transfer them to a new drive. The cost of the new drive was all the extra I had to pay. In both cases the reps I dealt with, first Heather, then Alex, were courteous and helpful, and kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend this company if you have need of data recovery or disk repair.

Recovered the data from a hard drive that had a mechanical failure and cloned it so we were up and running the day we got the drive back.

These guys literally saved my bacon, and didn't kill my wallet either. I accidentally plugged a 4 drive array into PCI-E power and borked the circuit boards so the drives no longer powered up. Sent the drives in, they took care of the problem, sent the drives back and all of my data is 100% safe. Couldn't be happier and I will be recommending Outsource Data Recovery to all of my family and friends.

Though pricey for me, personally, I still went ahead (and it was cheaper than most others!). I didn't want to lose all the pictures, and some of the website stuff I had on my hard drive. Because I had a lot of data, it was a little complicated to see what was being saved. That could be improved for large recoveries. Other than that, Alex was wonderful, speedy to respond to my questions, and extremely helpful. And, I got all my data back!

Fantastic customer experience! Progress was very transparent with their Project Portal. They were able to repair one drive and fixed the 2nd one enough to retrieve all the data with the original file structure which was then copied to a new drive. I was most impressed with the complete file list that they sent me to review which was very comforting during such a stressful experience.

Have used them for a few disasters (I help friends with horrific situations where their drive dies... and no backup. :( ) They really do fix the drive for cheap when possible. And their clean room repair is top notch. Some vendors tell you it can't be fixed when in reality they just don't have the right equipment or experience. These folks do it all. If anything, their website UNDERsells their abilities (the site doesn't show the specs of their latest clean room, etc.)
