Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. Please note that there are several possible reasons that can lead to reduced crema when brewing espresso. The most critical factors are the roast level and freshness of the coffee beans. If the beans are not lightly roasted, the crema may not be rich. Similarly, if the beans are no longer fresh (typically roasted more than a month ago), the crema will also be affected. Grind size is another key factor. If the grind is too coarse, the extraction time will be too short, resulting in under-extraction and larger bubbles on the surface, with a light yellow color and minimal crema. On the other hand, if the grind is too fine or the grounds are too tightly packed, the water may struggle to pass through, making extraction very difficult or even impossible. If the issue persists despite adjusting these variables, we’d be happy to assist further and arrange a replacement if the device is confirmed to be faulty. Kind regards,
