The four of us recently returned from a most memorable trip to Egypt Review of Osiris Tours Pending review First and foremost, we all felt very safe throughout our two week vacation in Egypt. I am an experienced traveler and have been to many magnificent sights throughout the world. However all four of us were overwhelmed with the multitude of sights awaiting us in Egypt. Osiris tours worked with us in putting together an extraordinary itinerary. The owner Mahmoud checked in with our Guide Sam daily to confirm everything was going smoothly. We were met upon landing and assisted with our Visa and then driven to our hotel. Our guide Sam was waiting for us at the hotel to assure us for the next 14 days the splendors of Egypt would unfold before us. I highly recommend Sam. This was a trip of a lifetime. We had no bumps every day was perfectly coordinated. When we were returning from Alexandria to Cairo I asked if we could return to the pyramids and our wish was realized. Our hotel accommodations were outstanding. We requested to eat at local restaurants, granted. The four of us were fortunate to book a private guide and driver. Having a private tour affords flexibility unavailable to the large bus tours. If we wanted to linger at a sight we did. If we had many questions to ask they could be answered timely as they were. I highly recommend Osiris Tours. From the moment we arrived to our sad departure we were treated as if we were there only clients.

Mahmoud planned the perfect trip for us to see Egypt-we saw Abu Simbel, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Nobles, Abydos Temple, Luxor temple, Karnak temple, Dendara Temple, Hatshepsut temple, statues of Memnon, Habu temple, Luxor museum, Memphis and statue of Ramses II, Kom Ombo temple, Edfu temple, high dam of Aswan, Philae temple, Nubian Village, Ibn Tulun mosque, pyramids at Giza, step pyramid and more! We stayed at the Four Seasons in Cairo and it was amazing. Our itinerary was for two weeks and every minute was planned out to perfection. All of our in country travel details went so smoothly and we were always in excellent hands. Sam Hamed was our guide throughout our time in Egypt. He is amazing with so so much knowledge about his country and Egyptian history-truly an expert. He is funny and extremely passionate about his work and so kind to all. We also did a cruise down the Nile which was great fun, with time relaxing on the boat and some tours along the way and chess games with Sam. Mahmoud worked with us to customize our trip for 10 and I would work with him again as this trip was life changing. No question was too insignificant and he welcomed any inquiries even while we were on our trip. Thanks Mahmoud for such an amazing experience!

We were referred to Mahmoud and Osiris Tours by friends who used this company for their tour. We felt Mahmoud really listened to us about what kind of experience we wanted and he more than delivered. Everything was perfectly planned and went as scheduled. From his people that work the ground transportation to his guides, they were all exceptional. Not only did we love our trip but feel we made cherished friends along the way.

We had such great experience and time in our trip. Everything worked out well: tours, accommodation, drivers. Our tour guide (Islam) was excellent: very knowledgeable, on top of things, making sure every single detail worked for us and also very patient with our kids (5 & 7). What an awesome trip! From the very beginning, Mahmoud took our interests and built them into a great itinerary. Responses to our inquiries were very quick and before long we had a trip planned like no other. From the moment we arrived in country, every transfer and connection was quick and easy thanks to the experienced agents they had waiting for us. The guides we had were all very friendly and even more knowledgeable, factoring in our interests and abilities. Our thanks to Sam and Sultan for helping us see as much as we could. We never felt our safety was in question and the private nature of our tour made it possible to move along much faster than a busload of strangers. We were so glad Mahmoud suggested some optional tours-the added expense of some tombs and temples was more than worth it! In Jordan we visited the city of Jerash before moving on to Petra. Jerash was almost worth a day in itself, and Petra was definitely worth two. We had time on our way back to the airport in Amman so our driver took us to two Crusader castles and even down to the Dead Sea before we had to depart. Our thanks to Mahmoud and his entire group at Osiris. The courtesy and flexibility of his tour made for a trip of a lifetime!

If I could give them 15 stars, I would. I admit to some hesitation when booking our trip to Egypt. With only the web reviews to rely on, it’s hard to know what to trust. I picked Osiris Tours because of the glowing reviews and details in those reviews which indicated that they were a reliable company who took their customers seriously and went well beyond ‘normal’ to give them the best experience possible. And those reviews were totally correct. Osiris Tours, and Mahmoud Gebril, were everything I could have asked for in a tour company. They were professional, responsive, willing to tailor the tour to our wishes, and the guide they provided, Ahmed Fathy (ask for him – he’s fantastic!), was so nice and informative and accommodating that I can’t praise him enough. Pluses: The service started at the airport with their greeter meeting us at the baggage claim. He then escorted us through customs, immigration, and to our hotel, checked us in, ordered box breakfasts for an early start the next morning and, in short, provided a full service. This set the tone for the entire trip. We flew to Luxor where we were met by our guide, Ahmed Fathy, who stayed with us throughout the rest of the trip. His expertise was amazing and his sense of humour matched that of my husband so they had a great time. This is a huge plus – the same people throughout the trip - the same greeter at the airport each time, often the same drivers day after day, the same guide so you get to know them very well… The advice they all provided was invaluable, too. Another plus is the relationship this company has with the various hotels, etc. We got upgrades for hotel rooms and on the ship which made our trip extremely comfortable (luxurious, in fact). Wherever we went, it was smoothly handled. In one case, Osiris changed our hotel because of negative feedback from their guests and this clearly demonstrated how serious they are about providing the best possible experience. Negatives: I can’t think of any except that our Cairo Hotel wasn’t in a neighbourhood where you would walk around. It wasn’t a bad area, just no shops nearby except for a high end mall attached to the hotel. Next time, I will stay closer to the pyramids. Having said that, it was an incredible two weeks. We are thinking of a return trip when the new museum is fully opened and, before this perfect trip, I couldn’t imaging ‘needing’ to go back. We will certainly use Osiris Tours the next time!

From the moment we touched down in Cairo, to the moment we left Egypt, we were given VIP treatment and incredible service. Our tour guides (Sayed in Cairo and Sam during the cruise and in Luxor) were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Mahmoud made sure that everything was as we expected, and there really was nothing we would have changed about the trip. I would highly recommend this company, if you are even thinking about going to Egypt. You will not be disappointed.
