Working with Origins of Adventure has been such a positive experience. From our first Travel Strategy Session, Ana Belén and Nick really impressed us with their expertise in travel planning. They came prepared with seasonal insights, route options, and realistic timelines for our December trip, which made the process feel clear and stress-free. In our consulting appointments, they took the time to understand what mattered most to us and shaped the itinerary around those priorities. Ana Belén’s eye for detail and cultural knowledge, paired with Nick’s practical travel expertise, made the perfect balance. They highlighted hidden gems, explained booking windows, and even pointed out things like holiday closures and weather considerations we never would have thought of ourselves. The communication has been professional yet warm—each call left us more confident, and the supporting documents (maps, sample day plans, and cost breakdowns) were incredibly helpful. We feel fully prepared for December and so excited, thanks to Ana Belén and Nick’s guidance. If you want tailored, expert travel planning, Origins of Adventure is the team to trust!

It was our first time traveling to Spain and in particular, the Costa del Sol region of Spain. Just before traveling, we realized that we didn't really know where we should go and what we should see, but we did have our accommodations set. Nick spent some time with us 'face to face' and helped us narrow down what we wanted to do each day during our short stay. Nick and Ana introduced us to some fabulous restaurants where we enjoyed the local favorites: tapas, paella, mojitos and Sangria. Nick was also our photographer and tour guide to Gibraltar. He made sure we had everything we needed for the day there, and was very helpful, ensuring our safety. We also enjoyed an amazing traditional Flamenco show in Marbella. Nick and Ana's guidance helped us experience the best of Costa del Sol during a short stay.

We were going to be in Spain for a couple of weeks and wanted to experience a bit of Morocco while there. Nick and Ana took the time to understand what we hoped to see and do with the limited time we had. The consultation call was professional but friendly. It was obvious that their goal was to ensure that we would have an enjoyable, stress free trip while making sure to have options for us along the way. Nick guided us as we traveled through the northern part of the country and absolutely delivered what we had hoped for. His knowledge of each of our destinations was fantastic, from the great hotels and places to eat to little gems that we would never have found in our own. I have a health condition and Nick was conscientious every step of the way to make sure that I was comfortable. Thank you, Nick and Ana, for another amazing adventure! We will certainly book with you again

Great itinerary around Japan. From South to North every tip was very helpful. The guide we received before we started the trip helped us a lot to have an overview of the country and details we couldn’t miss. Tokio, Osaka, Kioto, the Japan Alps and Hokkaido. We really enjoy our experience abroad in family. We thank Ana and Nick for their dedication and care and for making things much easier so far away from home. Therefore I can just recommend them and definitely we will come back to you very soon.

Origins is Adventure guided us during a recent trip through Spain and it was such a wonderful experience. As world travelers ourselves, we wanted something deeper than just the usual touristy destinations and that’s exactly what they delivered. They guided us through parts of Madrid and Andalucía that we definitely wouldn’t have seen on our own. They knew hole in the wall wonders and hidden gems that really made our entire trip. Most of all, I appreciated how reliable and responsive they were. You can tell they actually care about creating something special because they’re avid travelers as well. It felt like having a local friend by your side the whole time. Nick and Ana clearly know their stuff. Every place and experience felt real and meaningful. If you’re someone who wants to explore a place with more depth and less stress, Origins of Adventure is absolutely worth it. Thanks again Nick and Ana for your fantastic expertise and support during our trip!

Thank you for your help on our trip to Vietnam! We were a little confused about which itinerary to take, but Ana Belén and Nick created an itinerary with everything we needed for the trip, including lots of tips to make things easier. We'll definitely be using them for our next trip. :)

Could not recommend this company enough! They took us on an incredible adventure. I had just found out that I was pregnant with my first baby, and on one excursion, we went on a long hike through the Caminito del Rey and they made sure that I brought enough snacks and water and the right shoes for the trip. They made sure that all of the people in our party could understand all of the information in both English and Spanish since we had people who spoke either language in our group. Nick and Ana took us to some amazing hidden restaurants, told us about the best food and drinks to order, offered several options for lodging, gave us tips on ways to save money, and made us feel at home while we were in another country! They were hospitable, informed, kind, and forward-thinking. I cannot wait for my next experience!

Nick and Ana go above and beyond to make your travel experience stress-free! The knowledge they have for so many different cities is extremely valuable as they can offer guidance from anything to best local restaurants to must-see places. They truly care about your experience and will ensure you aren’t just seeing the main touristy places you could easily find online - they will show you all the hidden gems. We did a private tour with Nick and Ana in Spain and they made sure every stop was worthwhile. I definitely recommend them for any of your travel needs - from tours to traveling suggestions and recommendations. We will be visiting again soon and absolutely be using their services!
