The customization and dedicated support from Origin were top tier, especially from my agent Flex C. They helped with getting through a payment error and kept me updated at all stages.
The only downside was the delivery. While I was thrilled that Origin had put the system together so quickly that it would be coming only a few days after ordering it, UPS messed up the delivery in a pretty negligent way. Thankfully the system came through unscathed, and it was entirely the error of UPS, but it was a bit scary when you get an email saying your gaming PC was delivered when you never even got a doorbell ring or call from the delivery driver. That’s entirely on UPS for messing the end of the delivery up. Hopefully Origin can find a way to avoid this issue in the future.
Excited to get gaming and forget about the bad part

We’re so glad we provided top-tier support throughout your build and payment process!! Sorry to hear about the UPS delivery stress, but we’re relieved the system arrived safely. Enjoy your new PC, and remember you have lifetime U.S. based support any time you need us!

Let me start by saying I was genuinely…
Let me start by saying I was genuinely excited to join the Origin PC family and dropped serious money on a high-end system. But the excitement quickly turned into frustration due to their lack of customer support and accountability.
I reached out multiple times over nearly two weeks about a pricing discrepancy. I had discovered that the same system I ordered was now nearly $280 cheaper before it even shipped. I simply asked if they would honor the lower price — a pretty basic customer service request.
Crickets.
I followed up, got vague responses, and was told accounting was “investigating.” A full week later: still no answer. Just silence. If it takes your accounting team over a week to respond to a simple pricing question, something is broken. And when I did call support, they said they’d follow up — surprise, they didn’t.
Meanwhile, their canned “thank you for choosing Origin PC!” replies and links to social media pages feel like salt in the wound. You don’t get to say “thank you” if you’re ignoring your customers.
The build quality of Origin PCs is excellent, but their customer service is absolutely not on par with the premium pricing. If you're expecting responsive support, timely answers, or basic respect for your time and money — prepare to be disappointed.
Do better Origin. You’re not just building PCs — you're building reputations.

**4/3/2025 - Update **
I want to give credit where it’s due. After a frustrating start with Origin PC’s support team, things were eventually resolved — and I did receive a refund for the pricing discrepancy I brought up. It took longer than it should have and required more follow-up on my end than expected, but I appreciate that the situation was finally addressed.
To be clear, the system itself is phenomenal. The build quality is everything I hoped for when I made the purchase. My issue was never with the hardware — it was with the customer experience, which felt disjointed and unresponsive at a time when I was just trying to get a fair resolution.
Origin has since acknowledged the breakdown in communication and outlined steps they’re taking to improve that process. That accountability matters, and I respect the fact they reached out and clarified what went wrong.
I’m hopeful that this was an outlier and not the norm. Because with a product this good, the service should match.
Thanks for making it right. Looking forward to enjoying the machine for years to come.

Thanks for your review, Richard. We're sad to see that we didn't meet your expectations, especially since you received your refund and still enjoy your system. It looks like you reached out about the price drop just a few hours before your system shipped, so your sales rep didn't see your message that same day (response windows are generally within 24-48hours). When you called support the next day, your request was merged into our general support team before your rep got a chance to see your message, and they typically can’t make retroactive price adjustments (that's handled by our sales team). Unfortunately, this put your request in a bit of a limbo. We've reiterated the process to our team so there's no confusion going forward.
That said, we're glad we were able to help in the end and hope that, with time, you'll reconsider your rating.

Good pc, minor QC or deep testing lacking
Overall its fine, but it arrived in crate but still with a snapped case screw (easy cheap fix), the other one was dangling loose, the magnetic Corsair logo thing on cpu was loose and moving around between the video card / RAM / the internal packing material, and one of the SS-10 USB-A type ports had VERY bent metal bracket things & couldn't even use it. Also the 4060 HDMI port didn't work correctly on bootup / setup, but switched to Display Port and was fine. Not sure if that's a normal thing with a HDMI port on a 4060 during first bootup but the monitor just flashed periodically.
I game on a 3090, so I'll solely use it for a professional DAW for business use, sadly it also makes a slight whiny sound, it's fairly low level... almost like a vacuum running a couple rooms over or on other side of the house. I can isolate it so that it's not heard if recording via mics but it's still a bit annoying on a near $4k pc. But it's a solid clean build with good parts for sure, & of course it looks nice.

I appreciate the fast response times…
I appreciate the fast response times between emails and the assistance that was given by Lex. I would of made it 5 stars but I am old school and would of loved to spoke with a person directly over the phone. Everything else was Great!!!

Customer support vs computer performance
The customer support person (Lex) has been extremely helpful and patient despite my frustration with a continued malfunctioning computer since purchasing with Origin PC. We have followed every step exactly as instructed without resolution. Even sent the computer in just to be told there was nothing wrong and then it was malfunctioning again when we got it back....so customer service great. Origin computers 50/50 so far. Purchased the computer 3/2023 and been having issues with it since.
Update: No one from Origin has reached out other the Lex. Most of the repairs for the system were done by myself as instructed. As a side note, I was told that since my computer was out of the warranty period now so other than tech support there's nothing they can do. Despite the computer having issues as indicated above since purchasing it.
Response from ORIGIN PCNov 7, 2024
We're overjoyed to hear this and greatly appreciate your call-out for Lex! We'll ensure that last hiccup is fixed. Our team will be reaching out again shortly (i we haven't already) for the best resolution. If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please don't hesitate to call. We'll be here for you!

UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE
Where to start? I paid for overnight shipping, ended up getting the machine FOUR days later (and this was AFTER Origin had notified me they had sent it to UPS). When I received the machine, it booted up into an Admin login - clearly it was in a state that a builder was using to prepare the machine - it wasn't ready for "consumer" use. I called support, and they verified that it wasn't right, and it would be up to ME to download and install Windows 11, along with all the MB drivers. This was NOT why I bought a pre-built. Then, once the machine was running, I went to install a SATA SSD, and found they never included any SATA cables in the parts box. So I had to ask them to ship some. It took 2 weeks to receive them. Next problem: I tried opening the iCUE software to manage the lighting, and the machine immediately re-booted. After speaking to a tech, it was determined that one or both of the memory modules were bad, so they had to send me out new ones. As of this writing, I STILL haven't received them. NEXT: After reviewing the motherboard docs, I found there was a heat sink cover for the place where two of the M.2 NVME's go. Guess what? The cover was missing, and was NOT in the box. Their solution? Instead of sending me the part, they are sending me an ENTIRE MOTHERBOARD, which I HAVE to remove the cover from, then ship the rest of the board BACK to them. How absurd is this?? I've asked REPEATEDLY to speak to someone regarding ALL these unacceptable problems for a $3,100 computer, and I've just heard crickets. BOTTOM LINE: The machines ARE nice, but the QUALITY of the work that goes into the build, and support I received afterwards is ATROCIOUS. I CANNOT RECOMMEND ORIGIN... PLEASE, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.
ORIGINAL REVIEW UPDATE - 11/11/2024
OK... admittedly, I was PISSED (note all the CAPS) in my review (see above). It came on the heels of the system delivery and my subsequent dismay.
I am revising my initial 1-star rating to a 4-star rating for the following reasons:
Origin/Corsair demonstrated exceptional responsiveness in addressing the significant issues I encountered with my order. Their prompt replies to my email inquiries were commendable.
Despite the initial shortcomings, Origin/Corsair made a concerted effort to compensate for the inconvenience caused. While certain issues, such as the delayed shipping and incomplete system configuration, could not be retroactively rectified, the company generously provided me with complimentary Corsair products valued at approximately $425. This gesture was appreciated.
Originally a tech erroneously identified two of my memory modules as faulty, and Origin/Corsair promptly replaced them (although unnecessary.) Through research, I discovered this is a widespread issue affecting numerous users (system re-boots when running iCUE) and unfortunately, a solution has yet to be implemented. A persistent problem remains with the iCUE software, and I urge Corsair to address this matter promptly.
My motherboard arrived missing an NVME heatsink/cover, SATA cables, and an operation manual. Origin/Corsair resolved this by sending a complete motherboard from which I could obtain the missing parts (I then had to return the original motherboard at their expense).
While I commend Origin/Corsair for their efforts to rectify the initial problems, I cannot grant a 5-star rating due to the severity of the issues encountered. The most critical deficiency was the system's incomplete state upon arrival, rendering it unusable without further assembly and software installation.
This was unacceptable for a pre-built system, especially considering the premium paid for expedited shipping.
Despite the initial setbacks, Origin/Corsair's commitment to customer satisfaction and their proactive approach to resolving the issues have significantly improved my overall experience. I believe they are a highly competent system integrator and would recommend them to others seeking custom or pre-built gaming computers.
