It would've been a 4 or a 5 due to quality, comfort, and insulation, but fell apart crazy bad, the material at the spine of the heel frayed and opened up by the 3rd use.

These boots could be fantastic. Some aspects are great. However, I don't think anyone that has had to melt shoe shine and polish boots for parade and inspection would ever use these again after having one pair. The leather portions of the boot dont polish to any reasonable standard and scuffs are beyond repair. Also both zippers have broken with little wear and tear. So, I could replace zippers for $50.00 or more but why would I bother rather than moving to a better product or another company. I wish I could write a better review.

This is my 4th pair of Original Swat boots. My first pair years ago was comfortable and lasted a very long time. The second pair was also very good. The 3rd pair was too large (couldn't find size 10, had to go to size 10 1/2) and is now retired as an occasional working boot for gardening. Recently purchased a 4th pair, size 9 1/2, and are too small. But the real problem is the boot material seems much cheaper, almost like a type of plastic. The left boot has a very loud squeak with every step. I'm sorry to say I'm looking for new boots from a different manufacturer now.

I purchased my boots at a local bike show about 6 months ago, I am a motorcycle enthusiast both on and off road. Loved the comfortability of the boots, wore them at work and play daily. Was kick starting my dirtbike with the arch of my boot, and wham, the rubber/ foam completely blew out and separated from the uppers. I have never had this problem before, even with cheapie wall mart boots. I thought, no problem, they are under warranty, Im sure they will take care of me. NOPE! I sent pics of the defect to swat, as instructed from the retailer I bought them from, only to receive an email back saying "it appears to be excessive wear and tear not a defect". the best they would offer is a small discount on a new pair. Very unhappy with customer service, if this problem is not resolved, I will not return as a customer, although I loved the boots until failure. Don't expect them to uphold their warranty, its insufficient!

I love the boots because I have owned a pair before. I had placed an order for size 13w with 9" original. When my package arrived the boots were size 13r. Wouldn't of been a big deal but I needed the boots on a dead line. Had to re order with 2 day shipping for right size

My husband ( a police officer ) loves the "style" and look of the SWAT boots. Unfortunately SWAT does not offer their boots in any extra wide sizes except the basic normal "wide" 3E. My husband is a 6E width ( extra extra wide ). I do not technically understand WHY men's shoes aren't offered in extra wide sizes in more places and styles. It is very frustrating. Unfortunately, we will return the Swat boots because they are too narrow and do not come in wider sizes.

I understand its a business and consumers are paying for quality but you should at least Lower your shipping costs, i paid half the price the boot was worth for overnight shipping and it was not worth it

Bought a pair of boots, the safety toes were not properly installed which made the boots unwearable. Have been trying for a week to get them returned to the online store but no one returns my emails and none of the customer service phone numbers seem to work(except for the Canadian number, they were very nice but unable to help me). If this is how they treat there returning customers I think I will be taking my business elsewhere, and recommending that no one else buy their boots.
