I have had original swat classic 9 side zip for a little over 3 years. My first pair lasted for 3 years and I never took good care of them (only used cheap liquid shine on them). The "break in period" was a dream, no rubbing and no blisters. They have been through 3 harsh winter with plenty of salt on paths during patrols and many kilometres of walking on hot asphalt. Finally I did have to retire my boots but only because the rubber sole had worn down til completely flat. Now I have purchased the same boots (plus proper boot care). I am happy to report the same comfort. My feet will be smiling for at least another 3 years.

I worked in the security field for 10 years, constant patrol and in every weather condition. I first got the inch zip boots which were great but not waterproof. Then I got the waterproof ones and loved them. The boot shape feels much better than the bates boots or acg's. Acg's are great but too heavy. Original swat boots fit great and are light and easily maintained. The only problem is that the sole is very hard. This is good in that it gives support, but tends to hurt if you don't have good soles. But I have heel spurs and plantar fasciitis so it may just be me. If you patrol def check out original swat, just get your own insoles.

I am a big fan of Original Swat boots, they are light weight and comfortable, however, I have had a few problems in the past. The last pair I had developed a squeak in the right boot. It was very noticeable with every step. The pair before that, the pull tabs broke off of both zippers. In all fairness, I put a lot of miles on them without problems before they went bad.

Wore these for the first time yesterday. Well made and confortable but I prefer the sierra sneaker over the workboot

Great website, fast shipping. As for the boots, they are comfortable. Need a little break in time. The tounge needs to have the gusset come up to the second to last eyelet like other brand boots I have owned. That small tweake alone would elevate these boote from good to great.

I called once, went to voice mail, left a message., Received no reply. Called again the next day, talked to a human, was able to place my order. I even received a discount for the mix up. Later, the person I originally left a message for contacted me. I told her that I had completed my purchase with someone else. Thanks for a great product. Real comfortable. Original SWAT makes a great product which is why I recommended them for our my job. My boots were too big. I normally wear a size 9, but had to return my boots for an 8.5 which are still a little big. Not sure if this is due to the safety toe spacing, or perhaps its just how the boots are sized. I plan on buying more boots as they are great boots and very comfortable. Service is great they addressed the issue quickly.

I wore my Origional SWAT boots during my Correctional Emergency Reaspnce Team physical agility test, after only wearing twice before for a couple hrs. each day. They were comfortable running on gravel, offered great ankle support and were very comfortable to wear the rest of the day. I hope they last as long as my oldest pair of duty boots.l
