in recent years the choice of organic…
in recent years the choice of organic seeds and onion sets have reduced and the prices have increased. The removal of special postage rate for seeds only has gone. All of these mean we are less happy with the experience.

My bare root strawberries were…
My bare root strawberries were delivered. They looked quite dry. Soaked them and they revived. No instructions for planting. And couldn’t find instructions on your website. Maybe clear sign posting needed.

Interesting Pricing Strategy!
This is an interesting company. Their products are only average in quality, some being better than others. However, their pricing model is appalling and cannot be recommended - invariably a few days after your order has arrived you'll be advised you can now buy it for 25% or less than what you paid!! Why do they think this is good business?? So my advice, if you see anything at more than 60% off, just wait a week or two, and it will soon be much cheaper! Delivery is also relatively slow.

On-line purchase process a faff
It was a faff to purchase 3 packets of seeds! I had to have 3 goes at it, each time of course having to complete the "verification" process. Once, the software thought I wanted more than one packet of seeds. Think it would have been quicker to drive to nearest garden centre.

I like the fact that you are offering…
I like the fact that you are offering Moroccan Cress. It's actually a close relative of lettuce, very similar to Italian long-leaf varieties, and it's easy and fool-proof as a 'cut-and-come-again' salad. I don't like the fact that there is no indication of where your seeds are grown. I have found that seeds grown in East Africa, although they pass standard germination tests, perform very poorly here in Derbyshire.

I have only received half of the order
I have only received half of the order. No response from the catalogue.. Update : they have responded but still no sign of the missing ordered items

plant mix-up
I received a gooseberry plant in a blackcurrant plant labelled bag, but both Hannah and Sarah responded quickly and despatched the requested blackcurrant, received safely.

Mixed experience
If only it were possible to leave a mixed star rating... I bought a weed burner, after getting a very quick and helpful response to a question I'd emailed. The burner seemed well-designed and was very easy to assemble. However, it didn't work, only producing warm air that had no effect on the tiddliest of weeds - hence one star. However, the customer service I received was impeccable. I received a very quick and courteous response to my complaint from Hannah, informing me that a refund had been issued - so definitely deserving of five stars. I'm therefore unsure about whether I'd buy from this company again, having seen some of the other recent reviews. There are obviously some issues with the quality of the products, which hopefully will be addressed in the near future, but they've got a cracking team of guys working in Customer Service!
