The best of the best!
The guilt you feel as a new mom who doesn't produce enough milk (despite 8+ pumping sessions a day, supplements, lactation consultant visits, etc.) is overwhelming. Even in my case (where I knew there was a good chance I wouldn't make enough milk on my own BEFORE my daughter was born) the reality is a tough pill to swallow. We started supplementing with formula after one week and switched my daughter to a complete formula diet at 14 weeks. Early on we tried all the U.S options - Earth's Best, Enfamil, etc. - you name it, we tried it. Slowly I started to question the ingredients and I started to do my research. I wanted to try a European option based on learning how much better the ingredients were. The main challenge was how long it looked like shipping could take and trusting the integrity of the shop. I am so glad I found this shop through a friend. The prices are a hair higher than other shops I saw but shipping is free, boxes come in great shape and product is generally delivered within 1-2 days of ordering. The best part is the customer service. Ordering a product internationally makes you feel like you're at the mercy of the seller - you're limited on where you can buy the only food your child can eat so you don't want to be a difficult customer. However, Scott worked with me through every question and every order to make sure I always had a personalized/friendly shopping experience. For example, early on we tried to use a Dutch form of HIPP. I had just received a bulk order of 8 cans when we realized our daughter was allergic to cow's milk (and formula has a no return policy which is fair!) I spoke with Scott and he let me send the product back and exchange for the HA HIPP formula boxes without an additional charge (even though he could not redistribute the original Dutch cans that had already left the office). My daughter tried the U.S versions of the HA formula in the interim and wouldn't even eat - it was awful. The second the HA HIPP arrived she was so happy. I felt great about what we were giving her and she loved it. Scott has continued to be a wonderful source of support and help for all formula (and general baby!) related asks. He is responsive, smart and caring. Not only does he take the guesswork out of buying a product that's not in English, he treats you like you're his only customer (which you can tell you're not just based on these reviews!) While I'm sad for many reasons that my daughter is switching to milk in a few weeks when she turns one, I never thought I would also be sad to say goodbye to our formula vendor...well, hopefully only until the next little one! Buy from here - you won't regret it!
