I use Opus Clip every single day for my three YouTube channels (three longform videos + nine shorts daily), and it’s honestly one of the best AI tools for creators out there. The workflow is smooth, the AI logic is powerful, and it saves me hours every single day. The support team deserves huge respect — they always reply fast, even across different time zones, and they truly care about helping creators grow. I’ve even had direct video calls with the team, and you can feel how passionate they are about improving the tool. I’m deeply grateful for everyone behind Opus Clip. A few optimizations would make it perfect: – 4K support for uploads and exports – real 4K for YouTube & social shorts. – More Brand Templates: two are not enough – at least six for multi-channel creators. – Allow images (not only videos) for Brand Template intros/outros. – Better Video Editor structure: clearer timeline, text layers, audio handling, and layout order (Brand Template → AI Enhance → Transitions → Music → Upload). Also, the YouTube Thumbnail Maker is great — it’s creative and fun to use, and the concept is really promising. However, it now costs 5 credits per thumbnail, which makes it less practical for full-time creators like me who publish every day. It used to be free, and that made it an amazing bonus feature inside the Opus ecosystem. I’ll personally stop using it for now, since I prefer to use my credits for my daily short-form content — thumbnails I can easily create elsewhere. Still, it’s a cool tool with great potential if it ever becomes more flexible again and powerful with more customization options and 4K support. All other features — B-Roll, Auto-Generate, AI Enhance — work great. I’ve already shared my technical feedback with the team and I’m confident these improvements will come soon. Very helpful support staff when I requested a refund.

I've been using Opus for quite a while now, and I am so impressed with both the technology and the support. When there are small glitches or things that happen, the communication and speed of response with the team is fantastic. I have tried many software solutions for creating clips and putting subtitles on my videos, and Opus is still the best in terms of the interface, the process of doing it, and, most importantly, the quality of the output.

As much as I didn't use Opus all that much, I do have to say that there customer support is excellent. I had a refund issue and Renz sorted it out for me swiftly and smoothly. As far as the Opus goes, it runs well and was great for turning long form into short form. I will say though that I do think the actual editing part within Opus could be better. I feel like it would be great to be able to get more credits with the Starter Plan, especially for those on a tight budget, but other than that I think it is a great app with great customer support.

As a new creator this tool has made it easy to turn our long from content into shorts quickly and easily. Our shorts have gotten us a lot of subscribers and a significant portion of our views on longs come from the related shorts. We could not be happier with opus Clip.
