Pricing is completely out of control I was using Opus Clip on the free tier and I was blocked from downloading a short, I thought hey why not upgrade and try out some of the other features. I’m going around trying the extra features for the next week or so and I’m not getting any error messages when I set up scheduling and b-roll for various videos. I come back to find none of my scheduled posts have worked and all of the videos lined up to receive b-roll had failed. Then I looked closer at the tiers, it seems I upgraded to their Starter Tier for $15 month. None of the features I was trying to use were on that plan. So then I’m thinking what can I actually do on my $15 plan, the only difference I can see is that there is no longer a watermark. I considered upgrading to the Pro plan to get scheduling and B-Roll but you only get a good price if you pay $170 upfront for a year otherwhise it’s $29 a month. Who are these prices for, creators that are already very successful. I don’t understand why this company will not cater for the smaller creator which amounts to millions of hobbyists. Opus clip in their lack of wisdom provide a ‘Starter tier’ at $15 which is more expensive or matches other a.i subscriptions like Suno etc.. and you know what the so called Starter tier is absolutely miserable, you can’t do anything special on it. I feel like this company is destined to fold and I hope they do, it would be nothing for them to implement a tier for smaller creators, the starter tier should be that solution, the user could have a limited number of B-Roll and scheduling. Thoroughly unimpressed, to think that I have been a customer since the start and even after acquiescing to the prompts to upgrade and paying $15 a month I still don’t get to try their B-Roll feature or scheduled posting.

I used OpusClip only during the first month and have been trying to cancel my subscription ever since — but the platform won’t allow it. I tried deleting my account, searching for a cancellation option, and nothing worked. When I try to submit a support request through the site, it shows a “check your network” error — even though my internet is working perfectly. The issue is clearly on their end. I also contacted them by email, but I only received an automated response saying they don’t provide support by email and redirecting me back to the website — which, again, is broken. Now I’m being charged for 4 months without using the service, totaling R$ 206.84 (~$40 USD) in unauthorized charges. I’ve tried everything, and now I’ll have to dispute the charges through my bank. This company provides no real support, makes it nearly impossible to cancel, and continues to charge without consent. Completely unacceptable.

I canceled immediately. Just tried to cancel again and now if you want to cancel an AI pops up and tells you not to cancel and you need to write MULTIPLE messages to the ai so that you are able to cancel. I'll need to dispute those.

I used this app to create short form from long form since day one it’s never worked correctly. I used the captions with pink outline with white text the text has never been white always grey no matter how many times I try change. After paying for the annual offer I emailed on the same day and asked could I please refund as it’s not as stated to get no response. I cancelled instantly so I’m a year would renew but though with no response after 3 emails I try work with it. I’ve had 3 months and now it’s asking me to pay again as if I hadn’t paid for the year again multiple emails no response - terrible customer service won’t be using or suggesting

SCAM : Too early stage, Very low delivery value Here are crazy things that feel scammed : - Yes it cuts well the videos, but the editor is really minimal, limit worthless (no frame integration for YT miniature, when a transcription is faulty and you have more than one word to correct it takes more than 30min to correct,...) - ALL miniatures of your video disappear the next day you uploaded them (so if you threat your video the same day it's cool, if not you're gonna suffer) - Dashboard is too minimal and clumpsy, no files, no easy way to order videos... - Planner is clumpsy : It cut from youtube, from facebook, I had to plan it twice, and you really got to understand how the process work, if you don't follow exactly their path you're lost. I've been using it for 1 month, I've been writing to the support, they tell me they'll upgrade theses points but nothing moved, I haven't seen an update in 1 month so I don't think they invest in it ! They just sell

Horrendous customer service, sleazy they don’t reply to emails but just keep taking your money when you ask to cancel the payment!

Sleazy practices. They have creative ways of taking money. I challenge anyone to cancel their plan within 5 minutes. Should be easy right? Go to Account > Cancel subscription. Nope. Not with Opus. Total sleaze move. You can however, delete your account. But you lose all your credits. I genuinely loathe businesses that make it difficult to cancel. If you're confident about your product, don't hide that cancellation button. It might be temporary. But with this BS, to quote Taylor Swift, I'm never ever, ever, coming back. I'd rather have 32 root canals simultaneously than deal with them.

I should not have used this platform without seeing the reviews. Now, I regret losing $9. I have cancelled my subscription and I do not know if this website opus.ai is keep going to charge me every month. Stay away.....
