Horrible
Horrible, incompetent. There is not enough room to describe the problems I've had with OptumRX. Go elsewhere but I don't know where to go

It’s more than 3 months we are trying to final authorization for a surgery that everyone knows should be done asap. Every step of the way all people involved from pcp’ consulting physics, assigned surgeon doing their best to delay it, it’s outrageously incompetent peopleI’m

I was trying to get away from supporting Walgreens so I signed up for optumrx. What a shat show. I called to see where 3 of the scripts were only to be told they didn't show those. I have never had to interact with a pharmacy this many times. I have gone over the scripts multiple times since starting with them. Ef it I'm out. Customer service rep was useless.

I have called several times to transfer money from my old HSA to my new HSA. Representatives can't seem to help me and hang up abruptly. They sent me an email that I needed to liquidate. I did so. They gave me a reference number in the email. I use it. They don't seem to know what I am talking about, though. Although I have no evidence of this, I conclude that this is their way of hanging onto funds for as long as they can. If I have a choice, I will never use Optum. (I only use them because my previous employer did.)

I’m in their Westchester County NY service area. Every time I call I get redirected to an endless series of buttons to push for a service. All of the time I have to wait for a call back, when it comes I am speaking with a person who redirects me to a number that does not answer but asks if I want a call back, thus the circle begins. Some times the place they redirect me to never answers or the call is dropped. Some times the call never comes and I am back to calling once again. I AM FULLY DISSATISFIED WITH OPTUM, THEY BOUGHT CAREMOUNT WITH ITS FAILED SYSTEM, CAREMOUNT BOUGHT MT KISCO MEDICAL GROUP WHICH WAS WORKING MOST OF THE TIME AFTER THEY BOUGHT THE KATONAH MEDICAL GROUP WHICH WAS WORKING WELL. OPTUM needs to improve its overall customer customer service. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE OPTUM IS MUCH TO BIG TO CARE AS LONG AS THEY GET MONEY. THERE IS NO WAY TO WRITE, EMAIL OR CALL THEIR LOCAL EXECUTIVES - SCOTT HAYWOOD IS A NAME WE HEAR BUT IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. I TRUST SOME ONE AT OPTUM READS THIS AND DEIGNS TO REPLY.

Where do I begin? My debit card won't work even though the portal says active with an available balance. I can't get a hold of anyone who can help because their systems are chronically "down" or because they don't see what I see. Beyond that, their FSA experience is awful for seeking reimbursement for payments outside of the debit card that doesn't work anyway because the receipts don't line up perfectly with their expectations on bill clarity. I can't fix medical billing receipts! I want to say "it's a bill for a hospital visit very clearly....just because you don't like the hospital bill description isn't something I control. Stop making me jump through hoops!

I wish I could give negative stars. This is perhaps the WORST pharmacy in the world. Every time I have a refill it is a 45 minute call. And it usually takes multiple 45 minute calls. It is beyond frustrating. Escalating to the next level does not even help. They are just as bad.

I put 1 star because I can’t put 0 or the review doesn’t get accepted. The prices are good, 0 copay most of the time. Is either 0 or $125. The problem is customer service. The only lady that’s answering recently should be fired. I almost had a heart attack talking to her and I had just gone out out the hospital a week ago. She is argumentative, doesn’t listen, gets confused. You’re taking about one medicine and she answers about another medication, she’s not listening to you or cares about you or her job. She’s not helpful solving a situation. She keeps asking why are you changing pharmacies and not stay with the other pharmacy? The medication she answered about is not even at her pharmacy, nor I want it there. She should not be in any customer service job. I asked for a manager or the pharmacist and no, no transfer. I called back and ask for a Spanish speaking person and she comes back. I don’t even think she lives in the USA, maybe China, Korea or Vietnam. I asked for her name but she said it too low and I couldn’t understand. Optum RX management, your customer service agents, can kill a poor old lady of a heart attack or send her to the hospital. Take a closer look at whose calling the customers that request a call back. I don’t think this lady should work in a pharmacy at all.
