My husbamd got out of hospital and I called may 21,2024 about meds they sent script for. Was told they had it and could be expedited. Did not receive it and called again may 28,2024. Was then told they didn't have script on 21st but did now and again would expedite it but would be 5 to 10 days. So my husband has to do without meds because these people were not honest the first time I called. Had they said they did not have script I could have done something then and my husband would not be without meds for 2 or 3 weeks.

Received a link that my virtual visit was ready to begin, after 20 minutes the dr still had not shown up. Unfortunately this happened twice! All said and done two hours were wasted downloading the app setting up the account logging in and waiting and waiting and waiting. Gave up and went to urgent care. How disappointing!

It took 60+ minutes for my urgent online/telehealth visit to occur. It took 5+ calls to them to attempt to follow up on the prescription being phoned in to a local pharmacy, while out of town and on the move. I am advised it was definitely called in though the national chain says it wasn't. Optum staff insisted it takes up to 4-8hr for turnaround on requesting it called back in or transferred to another location. Over 24hr later, back home and I still cannot get the Rx successfully sent somewhere local, though nobody got it when we were out of town either. I will likely go to an in person urgent care option over using Optum ever again.

If at all possible stay clean of OptumRX. They lie on the advertisements. You can only use their approved pharmacies. They deny important antibiotic because they did not want to pay the cost( This ended with me being hospitalized that got worse). They think that everyone is a drug addict. You are not allowed to get prescriptions early if you are traveling when you run out. You are just S.O.L. I don’t understand how this company can take our money and then tell us what meds we can or can’t take. Last time I checked my doctor is the one that is treating me not optumRX. The customer reps are for the most part rude and un informed about medications and will not let you talk to a supervisor. I will be dropping them as soon as I possibly can.

El servicio a los Pacientes es Deficiente. No recomiendo el plan. Esperan que el paciente tenga muchos padecimientos. Desde el 2020 me están denegando procedimientos. Y ahora les solicite por recomendación de la Dra. Radióloga que me ordenaran un Pet Scan PSMA de la próstata, que desde hace tiempo los radiólogos de sitios distintos lo han recomendado, tengo dos nódulos en la próstata en Pirads 4 High(clinically significant cancer is likely to be present) y el otro nódulo está en Pirads 3 la presencia de cancer puede estar presente. El plan está esperando que esté el cáncer metastizado para entonces ordenarlo y ya no hay nada que hacer. Espero que atiendan esto porque lo voy a difundir a todas las personas. I love our pediatrician, but Optum who took them over is terrible. Trying to make an appointment is next to impossible with their call center. They do not know anything. They could not look up the doctors, find my daughter an appointmnet, and then could not connect me to the office directly. I am afraid the office is going to lose a lot of patients and the office, front desk, and doctors are great. Optum is too big and horrible to deal with.

Customer "service" aka billing is horrific. Can't keep track of copays (make sure you get a receipt). Can't understand a simple request from the insurance company for information (keeps saying the Ins Co wanted information from the patient aka me about chart notes or LMN for a routine visit, etc like that's something I would have). Providing them with facts is useless, they aren't interested in anything but their own story. Over a year of making phone calls to billing, dr's office, and insurance, to get nowhere. They sent account to collections instead of providing the info to the ins co so they could get paid. Still isn't resolved.

If I could give a less than one star I would. I have been trying for 2 1/2 weeks to get my Diabetes Medicine filled. Optium RX has one excuse after another for not filling the prescription. One that infuriated me was the needed to talk to my physician about how to take the medication. I have been taking this same medication for years. In addition I would love to speak to someone whose first language is English. Customer service are so busy apologizing and useless conversation they do not listen to what the customer is saying. This is the worst company I have every dealt with in all my years of medication delivery.
