I had my doc transfer my script to Optum because my insurance requires it. They filled my order but shipped it standard usps even though my current script runs out before it will get here, which they knew based on my previous fill date. When I called they said there was nothing they could do except send to a local pharmacy, where i will be charged more by my insurance because they require me to use Optum. Additionally I live in a rural area and it is difficult to get to the pharmacy. This is unacceptable and they were unwilling to expedite a new order or a separate order and acted as if this had never happened before, which I don't believe.

The one star is a lie. Optum is total zero stars. I had Healthcare Partners for years and had excellent doctors, good communication and clean, professional facilities. Several Optum doctors have told me (on their way out) that they couldn’t abide working for Optum so those really good physicians retired or went elsewhere and the remaining staff are deaf to my medical needs. They never even look me in the eye, they are so busy keyboarding for my allotted time. The last sentence is spoken while they are headed out the door. And now they shunt me off to an arrogant, uncaring Nurse Practitioner. I’m looking for a new non-Optum doctor now. The clinic I used to go to was clean and had good parking. New place? Dingy, old and parking is a real hike (I am disabled). My doctor said he came to work and was told he’d be moving to new place in 3 days. Optum didn’t even bother notifying me they moved. I found out by going to the old place and them telling me my doctor had relocated. At all costs, DO NOT USE OPTUM. They are the bottom of the barrel in every regard and all good staff have left. If a doctor is still there, there’s a reason for it.

I’ve had Optus through Tufts Medicare advantage since January, they initially did not approve my meds that I’ve been taking for years, finally approved it in April and I’ve been trying to recoup my reimbursement for months what a nightmare!! The drug company and insurance company operate without the knowledge of what the other does! MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!! The woman I’ve been speaking to at Optum, Wendy is not very good at her job. It’s and easily explained situation and she called me twice to ask why the company didn’t pay, WTF??? I am disgusted.

Trying to set this up this year was an absolute nightmare, I didn't get my Dupixent for two months. I was in misery. Now Optum keeps calling me and it shows up "Briovarx" on my phone, so I don't answer it. I did today and they started demanding all of this personal info. I don't know if this person is legit. I went online, and the site wouldn't accept my user name. Turns out there are TWO Optum sites. When I found the second site, it wanted to do two-step verification, but wouldn't send me the code or call me with it. I got a robocall hours after it timed out that put me on hold without saying what it was about.

Horrible coverage. Expensive co-pays. Garbage

Zero stars. They took my money and refused to actually help me. They prescribed only medications I can already get over the counter and refused to prescribe antibiotics for a chest infection where I was coughing up phlegm. I get this regularly as a diabetic and I am ALLWAYS GIVEN ANTIBIOTICS. They are a scam and fulfill the requirement of prescribing by offering the prescription you already can get over the counter. Don’t waste your money.

Words cannot describe how terrible this company is to deal with. They are about as good at delivering medication as a drunk turtle. United healthcare forces me to use this and I may as well go without. Constant problems. Never ending incompetence. Avoid at all costs. You’re better off trying to make the medication yourself than get them to deliver the right product on time.

Inconsistent pricing and blaming my insurance company but when I reach out to my insurance they confirm it's OptumRX. Tried telling me the formulary changed but insurance company says it didn't.
