I was out of town and needed a refill without seeing my regular doctor. I did a Google search, found the OptumNow website which said they do refills for people in my situation. Without any prior experience with this company - I received my refill prescription 20 minutes later. Total cost was $29. Fabulous and Flawless,

My original order of medications were apparently miss delivered - or lost, in the process of shipping, I called, concerned when they did not arrive and in need of a quick replacement due to impending travel. A most kind gentleman ( believe his name was John ) worked diligently to get an expedited delivery, and in spite of the National Holiday, my medications arrived today on South Island, Hawaii from the mainland and in only four days transit after I had called. Taylor from Optumrx made the process so easy for me. She was patient & very kind. Very good customer service skills. Need more people like her. Definitely recommend.

I am surprised at so many negative reviews. Overall, I am very happy with Optum Rx. I have been using them for about four years and have about 6-8 medications on standing order. The website interface with United Healthcare AARP is good and they provide frequent updates on the status of refills via emails and text. Customer service and phone staff are based in the Philippines but are always courteous and responsive. Mail delivery is fast, usually within a week.

For years, I was shuttled from using a local pharmacy to various mail Rx providers, including Merck, CVS and OptumRx. OptumRx was the best; reliable, and when I had any problem I received fast genuine help from a representative. The absolute worst was CVS— never once did they get any prescriptions right. Whether picking up locally or by mail order, I received wrong meds, miscounts, prescriptions that were “put on hold” because they were duplicated (no, they were two meds needed for the same thyroid deficiency)— and they did not notify me of that, had to find out the hard way, when it never showed up! Merck was the middle— problems rare, but difficult to resolve.

I just got off the phone with not one but two reps from OPTUM RX home delivery. I asked for a prescription override because I am going on vacation and needed an advance script on meds. I was connected with Quintina who was absolutely WONDERFUL! She went above and beyond to help me! We were placed in a three way call with another rep who was in Atlanta. She had to override the script dates in order for me to receive my meds. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she was fantastic in getting it done for me! I owe these ladies a huge amount of gratitude! I can now go on vacation without worrying above having enough drugs throughout the entire trip! Thank you thank you OPTUM for employing such dedicated and qualified reps to get this override done for me! I appreciate all of you!

We have been patients at this facility for many years and have always been satisfied with the doctors and staff. Recently we met Shane, assisting patients at the front entry. He is so very concerned, considerate and surely welcoming. Thank you, Shane, for your compassion and ability to make us feel welcome.

I have had nothing but great experience with Optum. I am shocked some have not! The automatic refill function works really well, scripts arrive as scheduled, changes made without delay. It definitely makes living with my version of MS a little easier!
