2 weeks, NO MEDS. Prescription submitted approximately 2 weeks ago. As of today NO MEDS. Inquiring for the 2nd time about the status of my prescription, I was told that the prescription could be refilled. Given that I never received the medication how would it be a REFILL? I canceled the order and had my Dr submit the prescription to my local pharmacy. I will never use OptumRx again!

Awful customer support. Have been having billing issue for almost a year, and now I ended up with $30K+ bill payment due to them not following up with my insurance properly. They said they are still working on it, but asked to setup a payment plan to ensure the bill doesn't go to the collecting agency last month. All of sudden, they increase the monthly bill by $2K. When contacted the customer support, they said the first payment was just for the appointment, and they had no record of setting up the payment plan. Had to hang up my angry call as I was not getting anywhere and keep blaming for their mess up in pre-authorization on me.

Optum RX is the worst, my doctor prescribed me a generic version of a medication, they approved it once after making me jump through every hurdle, then when it came time to get my refill not o my did they refuse it, they changed their policy to no longer covered the generic medication, it’s a joke and I recommend anyone who really needs help to find it elsewhere, anywhere else because they are not here to help at all, it’s all about the bottom dollar and the patient gets the shaft every time….. stay away find anyone else

My employer recently switched to optumrx. I have had nothing but problems ever since. My dr and myself have been trying to fill a prescription since the end of January. It’s now the end of April and they are still coming up with reasons to not fill the prescription. If you want prescriptions filled in a timely and problem free manner, DO NOT USE optumrx. I don’t think this problem is going to be resolved

I had to make five phone calls in order to get my prescription switched back to my old pharmacy. Customer service was the worst!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THE ONLINE CARE!!! I 100% have a sinus infection and needed antibiotics, I attempted to use this instead of waiting two days to see my primary care doctor since it was the weekend. The doctor said to use a nasal spray. 100% a scam and would never use this again!!! Waste of time and $30.

If your Doctor sold out to OPTUM.. Find a new Doctor, you'll never be able to call and speak with a human, unless you spend 20 minutes talking to a computer,,, no thanks,, I had same Doctor for 15 years and leaving bc Optum took over his office communications and human contact and communications ended. Optum has left patient care in the hands of an AI program... no thanks

More than once I have called and ordered a prescription. I was told it was ordered and even given a range of dates when I would receive the script. When I never received it I called them again and they said they had no record of anybody ordering a script. I have very high blood pressure and this latest snafu is with a BP medication. I cannot go without it. I asked them since it was their mistake if they would please overnight it to me and they said no that I would have it in 10 days. !!!? I’m switching back to my local pharmacy. They make too many mistakes with meds at optum.
