OptumRx and United HealthCare is a joke! I dont even know why we pay so much for insurance when they don't want to cover any medications you actually need!

If I could give no stars I would! They are constantly messing up. So incompetent. Missed doses. Having to cut my dose in half. Calling in multiple times. My doctor and her staff calling multiple times. Blame put on insurance when they had an override button and could have filled my prescription on time and not cut my dose in half for 2 weeks so I would not miss a dose. Just to miss my dose because the order was put on hold for another mistake made by the pharmacy. The incompetence is mind boggling. This is people’s medication. Time sensitive medication and they are messing up over and over again. I hate this pharmacy so much. I am switching asap. I cannot handle this anymore. Use a different pharmacy save yourself the headache and missed doses. Also they will charge you without your consent for things you have repeatedly told them you got elsewhere because they were out of stock. Even if you tell them multiple times and ask them to make notes. They do not make notes. They are incompetent. Also they have multiple profiles because I was married and for 6 months have not merged them so I cannot view my orders. Repeatedly asked that they fix the problem it has never happened.

OptumRx is bottom of the barrel- this would be a great place to start a mail order pharmacy business!!!!! If I could find the button for -5 stars…. These people get nothing done and they don’t care if you do without your prescription- as long as they keep playing the games they do, they will never improve. This company is absolutely horrific. There should be a law that you have to be notified which mail order pharmacy is associated with which insurance. If you hear the word OptumRx you should just be able to say heck no I won’t… and be allowed to switch. Thanks Optum Rx every prescription I order gets cancelled 2-3 times Thank you for wasting my time- and please pass the word OptumRx has won the USUCK award for the 5th straight year. The dynasty continues!

It’s honestly impressive how bad Optumrx is. Orders being canceled, deliveries being delayed, lack of communication all of these reviews are spot on. I would give them zero stars if I could. Truly embarrassing

They are a joke, took my money and asked me to call my pharmacy to call them. They were too lazy to send prescription, and when you try on their website you receive an error. I would not recommend them at all to anyone. They don't deserve one star and wish I could rate them negative 0.

I really wish like hell I would’ve taken the time to read the poor reviews online about this hot mess of a company before contacting this circus of a pharmacy. I mean, In all my decades of having medications filled, this Optum Home delivery is THE ABSOLUTE WORST pharmacy I HAVE EVER Tried to use! Unfortunately my UHC health insurance app kept advertising this place as having my prescriptions 70-80% less compared to my local pharmacy. I thought it was too good to be true so I ignored the advertisement until my regular pharmacy kept going up on their prices. So I broke down and decided to give this place a try and boy I tell you, it was the absolute worst mistake! The drama begin when I transferred my Rx (ie prescription) from my regular pharmacy to this place. For several days I heard absolutely nothing from this place so I called them every day for 4 days straight only to be told they are working on filling my Rx and it would be ready to ship any day. I waited 8 days and called back and finally was told there was a problem with my Rx in that they didn’t understand my Dr’s dosage for me. Mind you, my local pharmacy had filled that exact same Rx with no problem but i cancelled it so the Rx could be filled at this incompetent place. By now its been almost 2wks so I told the Optum Rep that i needed my medication so they needed to transfer my 1st Rx back to my local pharmacy and I would have my doctors office to send them a brand new Rx. Needless to say they never did transfer the 1st prescription back to my local pharmacy. However these incompetents received the brand new Rx, my doctor called to tell them the dosage, I verified that they had the new Rx and they stated my doctor told them exactly what my dosage should and I would have no problem getting my medication delivered to me, but a day or two later, unbeknownst to me, these incompetent fools transferred my new Rx back to my local pharmacy! I only found out because I had to call back yet again to check on my Rx (mind you its 3wks now) and that’s when they told me! After I regained my composure I cancelled my Rx at my local pharmacy AGAIN to have it sent back to Optmum again because i was desperately needing to pay a cheaper price for the high cost medication. I gave them 5 days to refill it and since again I hadn’t heard from them, I call this grossly incompetent place only to be told they can’t get the medication and they have no idea when it will be in stock! Livid is not even the word to describe my sentiments 🤬. Meanwhile my local pharmacy has filled the prescription twice (with no problems) since this saga began. All this poor excuse for a business had were excuses and empty apologies for me. Meanwhile Ive been without my medication for a month all because of their sheer incompetence! I would never ever use this place after! NEVER! If you don’t want an incompetent, ignorant, grossly unprofessional pharmacy to play catch me if you can with filling your important medication, I strongly suggest that you stay the hell away from this place. Yes local pharmacies may be a bit more expensive but I promise you, they would never treat something as critical as your medication in the grossly haphazard way as this incompetent place does! UHC should be ashamed of promoting this company to its members. I wish I had read all the negative reviews all over town online before I made the mistake of trying to use their pathetic services. Please Don’t be fooled by the false advertisement of the cheap prices because you will surely get (or not even get) what you might pay for!

Services were for my wife. Optum couldn’t get my medication in computer with proper dates. I ended up with 3 mos of everything some are not super to be 90 days. Insulin for many weeks. I’ve been gone for 3 months and still gave needles and trazedone and others to last months. I would call in trying to fix it and it only got worse. Found an excellent mail order and they are ExactCare. There’s are packaged by the day or morning afternoon and nighttime. There always on time and always correct
